Nope, and that is a good thing. Microsoft is keeping a hands-off approach of the PC edition and letting Mojang completely control it. Microsoft is focusing on the other editions, and getting them up to speed with the PC edition.
THANK YOU for bringing up this wonderful fact! - To post a comment, please login.

I suggest making it so the Wither's center head is ALWAYS focused on the player when fighting in Singleplayer. Perhaps it would work the same in Multiplayer, but for whoever placed the final skull.

I like this one. It could use general fixing as well as updating, as last time I tried using this mod on 1.7.10 it was very much crash-inducing.

I like your ideas, I will try to further rework this suggestion. Thank you!

I did a comparison, and I believe that the Ghasts could fit barely. There's also larger portals. However, I digress.

A Nether Invasion is an event that can occur due to a number of variables.-Whether or not your portal is open and easily accessible by any pigmen visitors.-The amount of Zombie Pigmen, Ghasts, Magma Cubes, Wither Skeletons, and/or Blazes you've killed during the total time you've been in the Nether.-The amount of any resource you've taken from the Nether. Based on quantity AND quality. Taking 8 stacks of netherrack is equivalent to taking and not replanting 24 netherwart.Nether Invasions are where Nether mobs will come through your portal and wreak havoc upon your world, setting fire to trees, slaughtering animals and villagers, and destroying your home. It will start with the sound of a large number of Nether mobs screeching at once, then the blocks around your portal suddenly becoming their Nether equivalent, so soils to soulsand, stones to netherrack, etc, and then the mobs will start to come through. These invasions consist of the following:-Zombie Pigmen with golden axes or swords, sometimes wearing one or two random pieces of golden armor, rarely enchanted, rush through the portal in swarms of as few as 8 and as high as 16. They will slaughter anything in their path, eventually finding you and attempting to kill you last. They will break down doors and smash any windows that are at least two blocks high. Spawn most often.-Ghasts coming through your portal one at a time, or more than that, depending on how big your portal is. They will fire fireballs at anything separating you from them, and at any passive mobs that are within three chunks of the portal. Spawn less often than all things except for Wither Skeletons.-Magma Cubes coming through the portal in groups of at least 3 and up to 5. They will spread out and attack anything that the pigmen would normally attack. They will also smash and crops that are growing and incinerate the drops, as well as turning the soil into Charred Soil, a completely useless block. They will also evaporate any water they land in. Spawn less often than pigmen, more often than Blazes.-Blazes will come sometimes with the pigmen, in groups of 2-3, or in groups on their own of at least 3 and up to 4. They will shoot fireballs at any trees or wooden blocks in they see. They will also attempt to fire towards any mobs they see. They also hunt more for the player than anything else, and once one spots the player, they will all stop what they are doing and chase them down. Spawn less often than Magma Cubes, more often than Ghasts.-Wither Skeletons will spawn in groups of 4-7 and only spawn twice per invasion. With them they will each carry either a piece of soul sand or a Wither Skull. They will march as a group, killing anything in their path, including pigmen and magma cubes, and will break any sources of light that they stumble upon. They will march to the closest spot they can find near the player's bed and then proceed to place the soulsand and skulls in an attempt to summon the Wither. If the player gets close to them or attacks them, 2-3 of them will stop marching to fight back. If all of the ones who stopped to fight you are killed, the rest will stop and fight you. If they succeed in spawning the Wither, they will spread out away from the Wither and kill anything they see that the pigmen would kill. These spawn the least often.-The Wither will spawn if summoned by the Wither Skeletons. The Wither will act as normal, killing everything. The only way to end an invasion is to enter the portal during the invasion and break the obsidian frame of the portal while IN the Nether. This will destroy the portal blocks, which will be unbreakable during the invasion, and will stop time in the Overworld. Then you must either rebuild the portal, enter it, and kill off any remaining invaders back in the Overworld, OR if you have another backup portal made nearby your house that is linked to another portal in the Nether, you can go through that one.The way to PREVENT a Nether Invasion is simple. Either do as little harm as you can within the Nether, or make sure you close your portal every time you enter and exit the Nether. You wouldn't want an invasion to happen while you're IN the Nether, would you? You can also make the inhabitants of the Nether more happy with you. You can do this in a few ways. One way is leaving blocks of Diamonds or Emeralds, pumpkin pies or cakes placed at an entrance to a Nether Fortress.Another is going up to pigmen and dropping gold, diamonds, lapis, redstone, or emeralds for them to pick up.These actions will result in less of a chance for an invasion to happen while your portal is open.I am open to criticism. I also would like suggestions, especially on how to make invasions less avoidable.Due to negative feedback, I will be majorly rethinking this suggestion, and probably be reuploading it when I feel that it is much better thought out. Thank you.

Yeah, I am, and when I try c+pasting the mod from the launcher's mods folder it "didn't like it". Maybe I'll try again later.

How are you playing that with Aether 1.10? All attempts I've made to use the indev 1.10.2 version have resulted in failure.

Omg, I love that mod! I can't believe I didn't think to ask him to update this!

If you're doing 1.11, can you do 1.10.2 as well?

Are you sure? BalkondeurAlpha hasn't been active on this forum since September 2015.

Hey, I'm so happy you're doing this, so many great mods have been abandoned and desperately need reviving. Here's one that isn't necessarily dead nor abandoned, but the mod author has said he won't be able to touch it for the next two years. He also hasn't announced if he has chosen someone to maintain it yet. If you could update this to 1.10-1.11, I'd be greatful.

These have been officially abandoned, but the author left some files behind to use and update, yet it would seem no one has done so. These will require lots of work, I'm sure.

If I find any more abandoned mods I think are worth updating, I'll post them here for you. Thanks again for doing this.

A Nether Invasion is an event that can occur due to a number of variables.
-Whether or not your portal is open and easily accessible by any pigmen visitors.
-The amount of pigmen, ghasts, Magma Cubes, Wither Skeletons, and/or Blazes you've killed during the total time you've been in the Nether.
-The amount of any resource you've taken from the Nether. Based on quantity AND quality. Taking 8 stacks of netherrack is equivalent to taking and not replanting 24 netherwart.
Nether Invasions are where Nether mobs will come through your portal and wreak havoc upon your world, setting fire to trees, slaughtering animals and villagers, and destroying your home. It will start with the sound of a large number of Nether mobs screeching at once, then the blocks around your portal suddenly becoming their Nether equivalent, so soils to soulsand, stones to netherrack, etc, and then the mobs will start to come through. These invasions consist of the following:
-Zombie Pigmen with golden axes or swords, sometimes wearing one or two random pieces of golden armor, rarely enchanted, rush through the portal in swarms of as few as 8 and as high as 16. -The Wither will spawn if summoned by the Wither Skeletons. The Wither will act as normal, wreaking havoc.
The only way to end an invasion is to enter the portal during the invasion and break the obsidian frame of the portal while IN the Nether. This will destroy the portal blocks, which will be unbreakable during the invasion, and will stop time in the Overworld. Then you must either rebuild the portal, enter it, and kill off any remaining invaders back in the Overworld, OR if you have another backup portal made nearby your house that is linked to another portal in the nether, you can go through that one. Either way you must enter the Nether through the portal that is being used for the invasion and destroy it from the other side, and then proceed to return to the Overworld and kill off any remaining invaders.
The way to PREVENT a Nether Invasion is simple. Either do as little harm as you can within the Nether, or make sure you close your portal every time you enter and exit the Nether. You wouldn't want an invasion to happen while you're IN the Nether, would you? You can also make the inhabitants of the Nether more happy with you. You can do this in a few ways.

If anyone wants to make this idea a reality, please let me know. I'd love to watch the process of it coming to life.

So was the Locked Chest (Steve Co. Supply Crate), if I recall correctly, and he put that in.
