    Thanks for making this mod!

May I request an Optifine-compatible version? I think there's a conflict with the class files, I get this error after installing FiniteLiquid v4 :

    java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: px.updateWorldLightLevels()V
        at kv.updateWorldLightLevels(GameSettings.java:162)
        at kv.a(GameSettings.java:994)

        at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
    --- END ERROR REPORT 6e893f3d ----------

The only mod I have installed that has a px.class (besides the base .jar) is Optifine (version F_MTL).

Thanks for making this mod, it makes Minecraft so much more enjoyable :smile.gif:

Does anyone know of a good 32x32 texture pack to upgrade the Mo'Creatures visuals? (Or is that currently impossible to implement?)

    Thanks....

Why are you using MCPatcher's HD options? That's what this mod is for.

    Start with a fresh minecraft.jar
    Install ModLoader
    Install OptiFine
Go to Options -> VideoSettings -> Details -> BetterGrass -> Fancy
    Ready

OptiFine is highly configurable, take a look around the video options.

I tried with and without MCPatcher to see if anything would work. I didn't realize a manual install + fiddling with video options would do the trick--I was convinced it'd work straight out of the box.

At least, I hope my mistake helps someone else figure out what may be wrong with their configs. Thanks for replying, both of you!

Hi guys, would anyone be able to help with the following? (I'd appreciate suggestions on where to post if this isn't the right thread...)

I'm trying to run Minecraft 1.7.3 with Optifog+Optimine (version F_MTL), ModLoader and the DokuCraft 2.5 texture pack (it's 32x32 and requires MCPatcher). My goal is to get the Better Grass green block sides show up correctly AND run Opti + Modloader together, but they don't agree with each other. I run into the following issues depending on the patching scenario:

This is what I get if I use MCPatcher (HD Textures + HD Font + BetterGrass) with ModLoader 1.73 and Optifog+Optimine F_MTL (in the correct order):
Exception in thread "Minecraft main thread" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: ji.setTileSize(Lnet/minecraft/client/Minecraft;)V
    	at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.a(SourceFile:310)
    	at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.run(SourceFile:716)
    	at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

No good, so I tried what the 1st post suggests:
If you need MCPatcher (HD Textures): Install OptiFog without the "ji.class" (the mipmaps and fog distance will not be active). For HD fonts install without the "sj.class". For BetterGrass install without "cv.class". Note that MCPatcher is NOT needed for HD textures, HD fonts and BetterGrass, they are included in OptiFog.

... And this is the result: Minecraft loads, but I lose the green grass sides!

So I tried MCPatcher with the HD options +Bettergrass enabled, with JUST Optimine and Optifog F_MTL. I get the same error as in the snippet above. (?!?!?)

I tried patching a vanilla minecraft.jar manually with just Optimine+Optifog... It let me load Minecraft and this is the result (no BetterGrass!?!?):

At this point I'm just trying to see what would make the green grass sides show up again so I got them by patching with MCPatcher, the HD+BetterGrass options enabled, and Optifog+Optimine WITHOUT cv.class, ji.class and sj.class:

But after setting MCPatcher to insert ModLoader 1.73 before Optimine, I get grey grass sides again as in screenshot 1.
If I try to put Optimine's ji.class back into minecraft.jar after patching with Modloader, I get the error message up above.

At this point I'm wondering if the compatibility with Modloader might have been broken somewhere (grey sides), or if BetterGrass is just not working anymore in Opti (after I tried patching manually and it didn't show up), or if Dokucraft just doesn't work with Opti...

    Any inspiration, please? =/
