Back Story
Risen from the ashes of the old, Kingdom Wars was a Unique type of PvP server which started in January of 2013 and ended only a short month later in February of 2013. In that month though it grew very quickly having 30-50 players on at a time and a few very large and monitored Kingdom battles. I one of the Co Founders as well as an Admin and another Co Founder and Admin, after a year and 2 months am deciding to try and bring it back.

Info on the server
The server will be very different than the typical PvP server. It will almost seem as a RP type server but not necessarily.

Kingdom Battles/SiegesWhat can and cannot be under siege/attacked
Kingdom Capitals can not be placed under siege. They can however be attacked only if a Knight+ declares that they are attacking.
Capitals can not be claimed by enemy kingdoms.Lords castles can be placed under siege.
However an enemy Lord has to declare who they are attacking an must have at least 2 other attackers with them.
Lords castles can be attacked at anytime without warning. They can not be claimed unless they lose a siege battle.
Mercenary camps can not be claimed. They can be attacked at any time without warning.
How it works
When a lords castle becomes under Siege, the defenders are given one minecraft day to prepare and gather troops to the location. There must be at least that lord and one other defender on to be able to siege the castle.
There must be a Admin on in order to declare a siege. The Admin will spectate and after a set amount of minecraft days the Admin will declare a victor depending on a few factors.
If the attackers completely expels the defenders from the castle and are able to hold it for one minecraft day then the attackers win even if the set amount of days has not been reached.
If the defenders are able to hold the castle for set amount of days then they win and keep the castle.
Other factors will be added.Both Attackers and Defenders can recruit Mercenaries and Bandits to help Attack/Defend.

The starting rank will be wanderer. They will spawn at the spawn and be able to choose one of two paths, the path of the Kingdom or the path of a Bandit.
If said player chooses the path of the Kingdom he will be promoted Peasant and can live on his own until he chooses which kingdom he wants.
After said player reaches a certain amount of money they can choose to rank up to Man-At-Arms.The same applies to Soldier and Knight.
Although when said player reaches enough money for Lord they will have to ask the King of their Kingdom to become a Lord. There is only so many Lords per Kingdom. The Kingdom must have 1 Lord per 5 Peasants, Man-At-Arms, Soldier, and Knight. They must request and Admins assistance to become Lord.
Once becoming a Lord the Lord must build their own Castle. Each Castle will be inspected by an Admin to make sure that it qualifies under the Castle Rules. This will require Admins assistance.
To become a King said player must have at least 4 followers. The King will then be able to make a Capital and have 5 in real life days to make the Capital in peaceful mode. Once those days are up a warp will be set near the castle for enemy Kingdoms to attack. This will require Admins assistance.
To become Emperor, said King will have to be the most powerful on the server. If there is a current Emperor, King and Emperor will be given a set of Armour and Weapons to fight to the death. If said King beats current Emperor, said King will become Emperor. If said Emperor beats said King, Emperor keeps his title status. Only one may challenge the Emperor ever 7 in real life days. An Admin must be online to spectate the fight. This will require Admins assistance.
Bandit Path
The starting rank will be wanderer. They will spawn at the spawn and be able to choose one of two paths, the path of the Kingdom or the path of a Bandit.
Once said player chooses Skirmisher they will be able to go out and join a Bandit crew or work by themselves. To become a Bandit and Mercenary said player has to have enough money to purchase the rank in game. To become Elite Mercenary said player has to have enough money to purchase rank in game.
To become a Mercenary Leader said player has be a part of a Mercenary group that is lead by a Dark Lord. There will one Mercenary Leader per every 3 Mercenaries and Bandits. This will require Admins assistance.
To become a Dark Lord said player must have at least 3 followers and enough cash to purchase the rank. This will require Admins assistance.
