Use Sethbling player heads filter. Then add it to the head piece using the create geared mobs filter. When you get the mob just turn it into a spawner using create spawners. Pretty simple, I thought most people knew how to do this. But I don't think Vechs does, since the Kamyus are named zombie heads and not actual Kamyus. (Or, just use Kamyu's tools, I think there's an option for player heads).

Kamyu's tools. They're way easier than Sethbling's filters.

The only advantage to Sethbling's filters is that they typically come out earlier for new features. Other than that, it's kamyu all the way.

Do magma slimes only come in 8 sizes?

They get bigger :3As to Gee beating Pantheon, congrats!

I'm dying to play it. :3

Honestly, Herobrine's Mansion was probably boring because you set the difficulty to Easy. You just keep respawning with all your stuff. It's more fun on Hard.

Another problem with Herobrine's Mansion is some of the mobs with loads of health.

Loads of health is a sad excuse for stronger mobs.. a much better solution is upping speed, strength, or giving them other extra abilities >:)

Well, since we are sharing... What do yawll think of this?

It's the starting area for my CTM map - The player starts inside the house (Actually inside the house, at a specific location, command blocks ftw.) they get to explore the top of the hand for hidden loot / weapons / glowstone and make their own way down, most likely through the hatch underneath the house.

Inside they get cactii, sand, and cave spiders. And a zombie that loves pie.

The middle of the arm section is red wool muscles / tendons wrapped around bones made of snow. Make it to the bottom of that through sheer manpants or find a way to bypass the challenge and you have proven yourself competent enough to head to the first real area of the map :)

Also there are witches towards the bottom. But an unlockable enchanted sword that respawns with you is available, along with infinite leather armor and pie, and a few ways to bypass or blow the hell out of them. I offer absolutely no mercy, but one will never be stuck for lack of tools or food :-3

The next section is going to be a city, it's painful doing a lot of little houses. But very worth it. There will be a few custom spawners based on location or as shoutout / tributes to cool people I know, but it will mostly be this guy in swarms. :)

He's kinda the default. Going to be a bit of a wimp compared to later versions - but he drops enchanted leather and there's a rare chance of him dropping his enchanted head. So that's a plus :)

Looks pretty good, but if you want.. you could enlarge the starting area, make it bigger.

Edit: Also, I'm working on a Project Ares map.

Anyone know how to submit them/contact the owner?

Something I've been wondering: What does Vechs use to make the awesome terrain? TNT? WorldEdit? MCEdit?

    MCEdit

Hey. Hey guys. Is it possible to make a redstone creation in MCEdit that inolves using a dropped item entity to keep the primed block version of tnt from exploding until the dropped item is despawned? I'm stockpiling ideas for a CTM map.

Make the redstone creation in MCEdit?

No. Make it in a test world or something.

And it's possible. Just do this:

Behind the crosshairs is an item.

The dispenser is to hook up to whatever you want to trigger the item.
You could set it up in a test world, press a button triggering the dispenser, close your MC, and save it as a schematic in MCEdit.

To cater to a number of playstyles is something you need to do.

Also, I could bet that almost all of us here see an area or two, and decide to run through it missing the normal intended gameplay mechanic for the sake of getting the wool. I barely know anyone who decides to do entire maps the intended way, with most people either taking the short way running across the sides or tunnelling through the place.

    That's me.

I know I'm a bit late on the whole mob-stack thing bu here are a few I like:

A bat with an invisible (don't think this is possible but oh well) tnt spawner on its head. The bat would fly around dropping tnt on you until you shot it. Then the spawner would fall and blow its self up when it hits the floor.

    This is actually possible.

Skeleton/Zombie with an invisible witch on its head. This would add some interesting fighting mechanics as the witch would heal the skeleton/zombie.

Meh, witches are too random. They're sort of okay on their own, but putting them onto skeletons/zombies is too unpredictable.

A blaze on a feesh. The feesh would have a gazillion slowness so that it couldn't move making it a kind of blaze turret.

    I approve.

Also on the subject of new mobs, I think It's about time for a decent air mob that's not nether exclusive, and for gods sake we need a hostile water mob!

Try Single Player Console instead of Single Player Commands. A few less features, but much less buggy overall. Still has World Edit support.

I used to use Singleplayer Console before SPC was updated.

My only problem with it, is that when you're using WE, you have to actually get where you can see a block's hit box to actually use brushes/craftscripts.

    Annoying as hell.

    1. You don't need a "/"
    2. It's with the circuitry not with the command.

It's not with the circuitry. I know my redstone.

It had to do with the command. I excluded the slash the first time and it didn't work, so I changed it (as I haven't played around with command blocks as much as I'd like and wasn't sure what to expect). When I relogged and changed it back, it worked again.

don't the new spider mob have a name too? I know you can find them in the Haunted Mines as well, I'm pretty sure they have a name, I just forgot it. Also, I just realized, is that new spider mob the same as the one in Inferno Mines that we've seen so far?

    Cave spider?

Bind sneak to caps lock. Then you don't have to hold it down just toggle.

I've tried this awhile ago, and it doesn't work.

Massive troll, or does it actually work for some people?

Ohmergerd. I realized something. You can like fly around with saddled pigs on bats!!! I remember Vetches talking about the bacon airlines. That could be the second alternative?

Well... would bats keep their AI, or would they become controlled by the pig, and if so, would they fall?

If bats kept their AI it could be kind of weird :/

Anyways, would anyone like to be able to edit any entities using outside programs to add potion effects? I'd love invisible/fire resistant spawner minecarts and potion-edited items.
