You stepped through a pool of diamond-infested water. Lovely flowers.
Actually, I went through a Dimensional Door (other mod) and started falling into the void, calling for an amazing screenshot of the peculiar looking atmosphere of stars above me.
Never came across that particular one, but the rarest i've ever found is a throne room (complete with a throne, a stone table with stone chairs, candelabra and many many doors)
No, but there are some rooms with very minor diferences, so it can trick you into thinking you know where the traps are.
The rooms were very different in shape and purpose. They simply shared the same form of architecture, so I found it rare that two rooms, both so rare I've never seen them before, were made with the same sort of approach and connected with each other so perfectly. It was as though the two rooms were designed to transition between the normal dungeon and the weirdly unique hub.
P.S.- Is there any way to fix the major lag I keep having when typing these responses? It's been bugging me, especially when I have to go back and fix a small mistake. At times it takes full sentences to load.
Edit- I would've posted images to give you a good idea, but I don't have any way of posting it in a spoiler without uploading it elsewhere (don't have any accounts anywhere to do that, so not worth my trouble). Unless you really want to see the images, despite risking the safety of the excitement to discovering the rooms yourselves (or for anyone else, for that matter), I will not post them.
The FWG gets stuck on "Building Terrain" for me. When I tried loading a default world with OWG (I uninstalled it afterwards), the biome was an OWG biome, rather than a default one.
Another question. When rooms are generated in rift dungeons, do some rooms spawn in conjunction with others? There was a unique hub design I came across, which used gray stained clay in conjunction with bricks, with supports on the sides. It stood out to me as a rare corridor to come across, but it must be even rarer that I find a very similar room right down the hall, and in itself yet another hub, except with a massive table in the center with some chairs surrounding it. Don't want to spoil too much detail, so I'll leave it at that. It used the same architecture and the same usage of stained clay. Since both of them seem to be considerably rare (the only I've come across), I was just wondering if the two rooms were supposed to connect.
Actually in the 1.64 version (where the original modmaker was still working on it) the monoliths only had the eye visible and the eyes were visible trough walls (but would only open half way if there was no line of sight), it was super creepy. Unfortunately the guy that made the 1.7.10 port reversed the changes, hope the guy making 1.8/9/10 version un-undoes it
I actually noticed that watching one person play around with the mod. I had a feeling it was a version in here somewhere, but at least I got it working. Anyway, I' m terrified of them (still). However, I must thank them for getting me lost. I just started a world, and I was about to make a new one for a better spot. I found a naturally generated tower from another mod. But still, I didn't even break the walls and yet they found me. The config (for the 1.7.10 version, as far as I know) does not allow me to disable that awful sound they make in the dungeons.
I personally think that the monoliths look weird floating around, being nothing but giant black slabs. I wish only their eyes were visible, but then if I made a personal resource pack to remove the solid part of the monoliths it would be harder to distinguish them. Their eerie nature wards me away from dungeons anyway, but I'd still like to know if it would really affect the gameplay.
Edit: So, I got it to my liking. I had to change the 1st phase to share a texture with the idle state to make them always visible. I still can't stand being in a dungeon because of that eerie music, and my minimap gives me the feeling that they are, quite literally, all around me.
After reading through the list of quick sands, all I remembered were the ones that weren't actually sand/bog. Aka anything cured, alive, enchanted, or simply different in some other noticable way. The effort put into creating more pits than I thought imaginable... good work.
Well, about the picture of you draining the ocean. Although I am very concerned for the safety of those squids (just realized how weird "squid" looks just looking over the letters), I think the more pressing matter is the safety of my pc as it brings those aquatic creature's lives to an end, at least in that fassion. How long would it take to calculate the movement for all that water?
PLEASE STOP PUTTING IPS THAT ARNT YRS ON THE INTERNET THE SERVER IS SOMEHOW FULL!
annyway why dont the guy who runs the server increase player limit? like it used to be 9999 and numbers like 1000 so why when people crowd the server it is only avalible on 150? WTH is he/her doing this on porpoise?
You think that's causing this? This server has become a battleground, if you understand what I mean. I'm not talking about the ruins it's in, but the "Veterans", who have supported the server for 6 years, are blaming it on the "Rushers", or people who learned about the server from the series TheCampingRusher started. It's not worth joining, because you are almost certain to be slain. The "Veterans" are killing of "Rushers" to ward them off the server. It's quite literally a war, because they each have a channel for each team discussing plans against each other. Everything about this is chilling, thinking of how Minecraft is being turned into this.
I was shaking with eagerness to install this as soon as possible. This is work in progress, but it's already come so far! Can't wait to see what you have in store for this project later on, because even now it's got me excited.
This doesn't make any sense, but my book (Esteemed Innovation) began getting it's grammar wrong. I realized that the mod has Botania integration, so after I equipped armor with terrasteel plating I looked into the book. I went to the plates section and it began calling me by the third person (being a book I supposedly wrote), and the last statement in the article on Elementium plating said "I must ask the elves if they has exosuits". I read over it, and there was that "has" that stood out to me. I reopened the book, and the issues were fixed: I was addressed as "I" again and the "has" somehow turned into a "have". Why would it do this? I could imagine the 3rd person thing being related to muliplayer, but the "has" thing just doesn't make sense either way.

Is optifine required? My cousin is getting a wierd contrast issue after installing it on 1.8, using only the shaders mod. She is using Intel.

The developers have bestowed upon this game the glass we need for this feature. I'm still waiting for those color alterations.

Is it me, or is this mod labeled for 1.8.1 BETA. The last post was years ago!
