posted a message on Asus Vivobook S500CA On Minecraft?
    Hi Guys and Gals!
This is XO07 with Gaming To The Extreme! I am needing your help right now. I am about to get a new laptop soon as my current computer runs games at around 15 FPS. I have my eye on one in particular and it is the Asus Vivobook S500CA. I was wondering how it might run on minecraft? Please let me know how much FPS you think it might run. Anything above 60 would be great, but if you have a guess, please let me know. Here is the link to the product on the Asus Website:

Any help is appreciated! The poll at the top is just for fun. I already know that Alienware isn't worth it, but I want to know what you think!

why don't you think about the Lenovo Y510p?

The Lenovo Y510p is the best option for your budget
    Intel i7-4700MQ 2.4 GHz,1TB 5400 RPM,8GB DDR3,NVIDIA Dual SLIGT750M 2GB DDR5

Thank you so much! I just looked at it and it is perfect. Definitely going with that one.

The Y510P is probably the best laptop in his price range. For $1200 (on the side, click more models), you get a 4th gen Core i7 which helps alot with battery consumption, NVIDIA GTX 755M in SLI (which will kill your battery life, but just make sure to plug it in when playing games), 8GB of RAM which is all you ever need for just gaming and light productivity, Blu-Ray drive if you use those, a 1080P screen that looks better than most imo, and Windows 8 that can be upgraded to 8.1 for free. And its sleek.

I took a quick glance at it, while you could get something around the same price with a bit better gpu, the sli 755m will be able to outperform it.

But if you can, I would wait for the Y50 to be release because apparently it will be much better and have models with 4K displays (though you won't be able to game in 4K at reasonable framerate so you will have to switch down to 1080P res)

I looked at that one as well, but I think the y510 will fit my needs plus more.

Why not go with a Sager instead? It would be a lot better for gaming and I wouldn't say Lenovo really has any actual gaming laptops for under $1200. This Sager is only $949 and has an i5 processor with a GT 750M. I would suggest this model because it's powerful enough for gaming, but is still slim enough to be portable. http://www.sagernote...del_name=NP6652

Thank you for putting Sager out there, but it doesn't actually have to be a DEDICATED gaming laptop. I just want one that can run around 70+ on Minecraft, TF2 etc.

    EDIT:
Forgot to say, while I looked at Sager, I now for sure I am going to get lenovo. Thank you for your help, it is really appreciated.

Hi guys! This is XO07 with Gaming To The Extreme ( <--YouTube Channel),

I have been researching laptops for a while now, and I have boiled it down to Lenovo. But they have so many laptops, I don't know which one to pick! I have put below some of the things, you guys might need to know, before answering:

    Budget: $1200

    Uses: Gaming: School

    Touch screen: Does Not Matter

    OS: Win 8 or 8.1

Battery Life: At least 4 hours

Webcam: Would Be Nice, but don't need one

Mic: No, but could have one

Thanks you so much for all the help! Any help is appreciated. The poll above is just for giggles. I already know that Alienware isn't worth it, but I want to know what YOU think!

Razer peripherals all the way, but how much is a bit of money? That seems like its going to cost you a lot.

    Good luck with your channel.
Thank you for actually giving me some advice I was looking for.

Not only are Alienwares ripoffs, they are often poorly built and have a tendency to overheat. Mice are mice, and keyboards are keyboards. I couldn't care less if you bought a fragile/questionably branded peripheral. That being said however, if you plan on doing commentaries/let's plays or what have you, I'd strongly recommend a proper microphone. I believe the Blue Yeti is popular, as is the Snowball.

Which they are. Which you shouldn't. Which you are. Honestly, I need to ask, are you purposely making the worst choices possible?

Razer products are all cheap junk. Get something serious that's not a toy.
All of you people said what I have already heard across like, 4 or 5 forums! I just want to have a little fun!

Hi Guys! This Is XO07 with Gaming To The Extreme, a newly launched YouTube channel! But that's not the point, this is.

I have a bit of money and am soon going to get an Alienware x51. I know that I want that for sure. I don't know, however, what equipment I want to go with it! I have created a poll above which I would like you to take a minute to fill out. If you would like to leave your reasons for picking what you picked, leave them in the answers/comments below. Below I have listed some stuff I DO NOT want you to say:

Don't Get Alienware, It is a rip off! (or any other similar comments)

Don't Get Razer Or Mad Catz Get Something Else! (or any other similar comments)

    You're just wasting your money!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, you get the idea. Thanks for taking your time to help me! I have no clue what I want, and your help is greatly appreciated! Every comments except for the ones that are listed above are getting thumbed up!
