So what was so special about excluding the y hills biomes then?
That last bit doesn't make any sense. I'm arguing that it has few possibilities "because of something that doesn't exist." You mean God?
Wimpy in comparison to what xtreme hills can do today.
Yes, it's biomes. You seem to think that if you call out their names that it makes it... Actually I have no idea what the point of you describing what I saw with the biome names was.
Anyway, we can call what happens in 1.7 by biomes names if we are so inclines, it won't make it special
We're not talking about their content. Try to stay on target. We're talking about the topography, meaning the altitude differences. Ignore the trees and the grass and look at the topography differences. That's the veriety. Just because flatness always occurs with grass does not mean that the worlds are always the same.
Why are you being such a *****?
Ok, I'll be a ***** too then. Wow, you mean to say on the technical side, the topography is tied to biomes? Wow! Look at the big brain on this guy! How could he ever have figured that out!
The point is that it doesn't feel that way.
It feels like it flows well.
I think you're noticing an biome transition and thinking "BOY I BET THE TERRAIN IS GOING TO BE SIMALAR TO A BIOME LIKE THIS ONE!"
Stop that. Look at he whole world. The whole worlds has lots of variation.

Those weren't forced in random locations. Those were uncontrolled Perlin noise formations.
Those are created in current generator as well, but forced height system immediately turns them down.
