Yay, milk heals for a half a heart, and you can drink it multiple times. :biggrin.gif: I've actually never milked a cow in Minecraft, because I heard it did nothing. So I'm guessing this must be new.
I had the same idea, although I didn't take into consideration of how it would be made. I think stained glass would be helpful in making catherals and what not. :biggrin.gif:
the number of times i died building this are absolutely shameful.
I refused to allow ghasts to frighten me out of the netherworld. I built the bridge to be 100 squares long, arbitrarily, to see where the nethergate would come out. I got in a boat and rode back almost effortlessly. It wasn't as far as I thought.
This is the gatehouse interior
This is the half-glassed tunnelway (called the Inaugural Scott Pilgrim Tunnel because I built it through an entire viewing of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World)
This is the exit portal looking back down the hall.
I have partially abandoned this epic effort simply because my world has bugged out and ALL of my portals in the outside world lead back to the same original portal in the nether.
Portal A,B,C and D on the surface ALL lead to Portal A-Exit in the nether. :sad.gif: :sad.gif: :sad.gif:
Set it to Peaceful to take the screenshots... spur of the moment thing, didn't want to lose all my tools and goodies for a few snappies...
That looks so cool! :biggrin.gif: I love how you got your name for it too! Sorry to hear about the portals though. :sad.gif: Those Ghasts are a pain, but I like the challenge. It's just so hard to tell where they're coming from. Now that I think of it...I didn't really change my fog setting.... So that might be why it was so hard to tell where they were coming from. >.<
I find it difficult seeing as the Ghasts are trying to blow me up anytime I step out of my makeshift shelter. ._.
Any suggustions?
I know I can hit back their fireballs, but they are way to far. I swear its like I stepped into Spongebob's nightmare.
Well I decided to make a little farm. Everything went well, that is until the cows, chickens, and sheep started partying all over my crops! >:ohmy.gif: So I chased them screaming, "AARG!" with my sword and what not.
So after all that had happened I built a fence around the little farm. Somehow a few of them managed to get around it. Then I thought of an idea! I'll place lava near my farm so when those animals come again, they'll burn. Mwahahaha. I know, I know. So evil. =.=b
I started to place lava in a hole next to my farm, and got distracted for a little bit. I turned around and started making infinite water blocks in the ground. After I made a little lake, I turned around to find the entire forest on fire! O.O
"..."
I rushed in there to get what wood I could, but most of it had burned away by the time I could get anything. So I will never mess with lava again to murder the animals...unless it isn't around trees. >.>
Is it possible to take the spider spawner? If so what tool should I use. I don't want to end up destoying it, because I need spider webs to make a bow. I will have my revenge on those ninjas!!! :ohmy.gif:
Thank you all for your feedback. I'll be sure to mine the mossy cobblestone. I keep finding more and more stuff down here. I'll probably eventually get lost. xD
While having fun exploring this huge cave system and fighting off Creepers and those Ninja Archers, I came upon this room. I couldn't find any information on anything like this so I was hoping you guys would be able to help. There was a spider in the room which I quickly killed, but two more spawned in there. Wasn't sure if it was because I hadn't put a light in there yet, but after the third one I decide a light might be good. There were two chests against the walls, and a box on that was on fire. I didn't want to break it, because I don't know what it is. It could just be...a box that is on fire, but I don't know. x

I was able to screen shot the event right before I rushed in there to get as much wood as I can. From what remains I found I will say two cows and one chicken were harmed in the forest fire.
