Blocks no longer talk about you behind your back.
I guess the april fools resource pack is now entirely removed?

Blocks no longer talk about you behind your back.

As far as I know, the command blocks (I don't use them, so I don't really know when they were added), world border, teleport etc. were added after 1.7.9 version - so they will be "officially" included in new 1.8 update. Together with slime blocks. I called the 1.8 update "slimeblock update" out of sarcasm, you know... And I did that only for catbox
Back to the discussion:
So, no, in 1.7.9 the Stargate thingy would not be possible to build. Even for Seth. And that was my point.

Well mostly the fixing of the bug it did that.
Guess the old launcher couldn't be adapted to use the updated OpenSSL, required to keep your account safe.

Oh! So that's why I looked like steve some times.

I have an ender chest in my base where it's the second bit line, under the A, that has a 1 in it.
Maybe you haven't checked properly, but I think this info is also available on an overworld portal.
(this needs some verification. I need to double check my overworld portal and Nether placed Ender chest.)
[Edit]
Turns out both my overworld portal AND Nether portal don't show the bit info.
Maybe that's because they have the exact shape and size and therefor don't have a "different round trip".(?)
Maybe some tests with differently sized Nether portals might help.
(both in nether and overworld)
My nether placed ender chest however has a 1 under the A column at both the 0x1 and 0x2 bits, where the overworld one only has it at the 0x2 line.

That means creating plenty of houses to ensure villager breeding AND get in enough villagers to make them start breeding.
An extra challenge to this. There's NO nearby village. :/ (Else I wouldn't need to make one from scratch, right )
So villagers needed to be cured zombies.

Not even remotely possible seeing there are only 52/53 weeks in a year.
So after 14w53(?) we'd get 15w01a.

As a result I have NO difficulty in finding oreveins of iron/gold/diamond/etc.
However. My coal generation is still similar to normal.
So compared to the ores this is a rare substance now.
Which put me in the position of mining EVERY coalvein I spot OR to bucket out every lavapool I spot.
Just to be able to smelt all the ores.
So the difficulty only shifted to other aspects of the game.

I've seen that (but working) before on these forums.
The idea is that 2 of the 5 columns of fences (regular and Netherbrick) are to be pushed down and up to either align the same type fence, (thus blocking the way) or dis-align the fences (as shown in the image of the OP), so you can walk through it.

It's basically all about updating said webpage with the right info.
So the Snapshot update visibility is a sort of either for everyone or it shouldn't be there kind.
I DO support the idea of having the update release info on snapshots there too.
I should only require some webupdating from Mojang a bit more often.

A better option would then be to have a redstone BLOCK underneath the rail that needs power.

Which I think is kinda a shame.
There's probably some use to using gears.

Commandblock 1 gives the player the item.
Commandblock 2 removes the commandblocks 1 & 2 (done after commandblock 1 had done it's work)
Although this would require you to manually put the commandblocks back in (with their commands) when you want to replay the game.

Has the mechanism changed so much in the snapshots it's no longer possible to stack minecarts like this?
Cause it was a nice way to Have a lot of storage without needing a lot of space. :/

Right now I have this in place in a server I'm on.
This has been really helpful.

I would rather have chests in them and fill those with the items. (long distance despawning risk?)
And have those chests emptied by hoppers at the other end.
(and then processed by whatever system the hoppers are feeding)
And the design of this would look good on a futuristic map.

What isn't? More detail on that is kinda preferable to help out.
But let's try anyway.
In the previous posted link check the remove old versions sections to remove the present 32bit versions of your current Java.
Then reinstall the 64bit version as your only Java.
