posted a message on Feed sheeps grass to grow back wool quicker

Yes, I know the frustration of waiting an eternity for a single sheep to grow back its wool... the only thing I don't like is how annoying it is to get grass... you need shears, and the grass wrecks your shears quicker than shearing sheep (or at least it seems to). If only we could use a sword to harvest plants...

Either way, full support for this suggestion.

Answer that question and I can support this suggestion.

This seems just too modern for Minecraft. Also, when you drop up to seven glowstone dust with a glowstone block made from four glowstone dust you can make more glowstone by simply mining it.

posted a message on glass door

I would assume that the glass door recipe would be the same as other door recipe, and would just be a plain glass door. However, would zombies break the door? How would it open? Would it drop itself when broken? Those questions need answering.

But still, I've wanted glass doors in Minecraft for years.

posted a message on The dog whistle.

You could say the same thing about a lot of bad suggestions involving ridiculous items... If you don't want cars in Minecraft, then don't craft it!

What that point fails to mention is the fact that other players could use that ridiculous item to get ahead of other players, especially on multiplayer servers.

I usually don't have more than a few dogs, so this would be kind of useless. Even if I had plenty of dogs, I could simply sit a bunch down and walk a short distance (like a few blocks) and the dogs that aren't sitting will follow me, while the sitting dogs won't follow me. In this sense, the dog whistle would be really useless. You never even gave us a crafting recipe or a durability on it.

what’s the difference from spaced out Redstone

Redstone usually must be spaced out because otherwise it will automatically connect with other pieces of redstone. It would be a good idea to have some level of customization on where wires go, such as having different routes of redstone not being automatic, but manual, so that wires won't get in the way as much. Otherwise, you will need repeaters for more compact builds (or if you don't worry about space this is unlikely to be an issue).

In my opinion, we should just have regular redstone (the redstone that automatically connects) and redstone that would be a set shape, like a line of redstone having a line of 3 redstone dust making 3 straight redstone, which would be placed in the world as straight redstone, regardless of whether there was "automatic shaping" redstone to the right of it. The same would go for all other shapes: all-way redstone would be 5 redstone in the shape of a cross that would yield 5 4-way redstone, 3 redstone in the shape of an "L" would yield 3 corner redstone, and so on. The rubber would allow for more complex redstone circuits that overlap, giving the possibility of up to 16 wires per block stacked on each other, and would connect with specific colored rubber that could be obtained by crafting rubber with dyes. In case you were wondering about what would happen with input/output, there would either have to be different color codes that correspond to certain colors with regular items so that it would take all signals, or it would have to just be the way it is right now: it wouldn't be color coded. What I mean by "color coded" would mean that it would have an array of pixels in different colors somewhere inconspicuous (like the back of a piston or the side of some other redstone item where the back would be obscured) that would indicate what color of input/output it would accept/create. It would be able to have 15 different colors on that spot, which would accept up to 15 colors. The only reason why there can't be 16 colors is because that would be a regular redstone item. To get an item that is "color coded" you would need to craft a redstone item with a dye of some sort, let's go with green for an example. You would put green dye with a piston, and the piston would display a green pixel on the back of it. You would need a green wire to activate the piston. To get green wire, you would get your redstone and craft the green wire with that redstone to get back 3 green wire. After that, if you want to dye a wire again, you can click on it with a dye to change its color.

I know that this addition to the suggestion is ridiculously complex (and long) but it might make redstone a little easier to deal with.

(in case you were wondering about redstone devices like torches and repeaters, those will be about the same as having a lever that is color coded. They cannot stack, but could activate specific types of redstone or take input from specific types of redstone, but they cannot have wires stacked on or around them.)
