Since the update to 6.5 (and 6.6) yesterday and today I have noticed a lag issue.
I pinned it down to the bspkrs core after checking my shaders, reinstalling java and minecraft, and several other things. Finally my friend updated (she hadn't yet) and started having the same problem. Even after a fresh restart of my computer minecraft was very laggy (low FPS as well as 'yo-yoing' framerate). No errors or crashes per se, We went back and installed 6.1 (what she was still using) and the problem seems to be better. I didn't notice this problem while using what I believe was 6.4 (up until the update yesterday, 4/23.) The only mods I have other than core is Forge, Treecapitator, and SEUS shaders.

Anyway, awesome texturepack/resourcepack. I just can't go back to default after using this one!
The randomizer in MCpatcher allows this resource pack to customize mods based on the biome. So you get snow zombies/creepers, desert creepers/mummies, etc. the randomizer in Optifine doesn't allow for this, and simply randomizes the skins entirely. so you get bright white creepers in the forest, etc.
I suspect (but don't know for sure) that this is why SMP prefers MCpatcher, as it's an amazing option for the mobs (jungle creepers are super camoflauged). And since the CTM's in these two applications work differently, the textures don't always look right in optifine (notably the glass). That being said, if you are a big fan of optifine, you can easily remove the extra mob skins, or just deal with strange randomization. other than a few graphical oddities, this works fine with optifine.
I really hope SMP isn't letting this go. I love this pack.

Ugh. Bitbucket is acting all weird with the uploading. I figured I'd try out the whole "color profile" thing since everyone seemed to want it. However, I don't want to do an official release until I can handle all these bug reports (or at least some of them). If anyone would like to, though, they're more than welcome to try out this test build. To access biome color profiles follow these steps:
1.) Create a folder named "biome" right next to AMIDST.
2.) Launch AMIDST (if it was already opened, close it and reload it)
3.) There should now be a default.json file in the biome folder.
4.) Copy or modify this file. AMIDST will currently attempt to load all files in this folder, so don't drop anything that's not a json in there. (As I said, it's a fast test build)
5.) Relaunch AMIDST after any changes to json files to access them in AMIDST. (All biome profiles are loaded once at launch)
Opening default.json should give you a very good idea how to set biome colors. (Don't forget to change the name!)

If you decide to test this and want to post an issue to the issue tracker, please note what version you are using.
Also, I really want to do selective library loading for 3.5. It shouldn't be too hard.
Would really like to see this info and the post with the 3.5 beta added to the OP. I was hoping to be able to change colors, and I'm glad to see it's in the works.
