How did you hear about The Sanctuary SMP community?: Just this thread is all, was scrolling through PC servers and found it.
What is your favorite/preferred base/building style?: I usually go for a small house, or a few smaller buildings, then expand underground for my working area/storage, utilities and what not, and then start terraforming the surroundings to incorporate different little niche areas for the same stuff, or just to stand back and look at, whether its creating a lake, rerouting rivers, or just making crazy "natural" looking structures from scratch to make an amplified sort of aesthetic to make some smaller buildings in and around. From there I like to decorate the sht out of everything from paths, to trees, to hell even passive mob "sanctuaries" if you might call them.
What aspect of vanilla gameplay draws you towards SMP? Terraforming is what I find the most rewarding as far as time and effort goes. I enjoy small interior design, but am not the greatest at mid to large scale buildings/houses/structures (also why I'm hard on the terraform). I like small cozy house designs, and exploration. Dude I even enjoy organizing stuff in this game... does that sound sad xD
Do you have any experience with Minecraft communities? Plenty. The biggest issue I have with places is the groups dying down slowly, and then people not wanting to even interact with the people in the community, never mind actually play on the server. So as you might know, an SMP server without any MP isnt much to play with.
Outside of Minecraft, what kinds of activities/hobbies do you enjoy? Fair bit of other gaming too, which takes up a chunk of my time, but when I have plans in MC that is generally my priority. I do need to learn to finish builds more, but I am getting better at that the more I play the game. I do a bit of photography, am pretty big into hockey and football, and am also finishing up my apprenticeship as an electrician currently.

I'm more into terraforming and intricate interior designing within minecraft more than anything. Why would you like to join this server?: Looking to get back into MC again, but looking for a community where I'm not exactly limited on what I'm allowed to say (as in not being around super young kids), getting to know more people I can game out with, and just have a good time playing MC again.[/b]

Why do you want to join specifically this server? I've been on too many servers where people die after the initial "gather your resources and set up base" rush of the game, and where people are just literally not mature in a sense that they can't even type a good sentence without sounding like an idiot.

So, I've got a group of players (4 or 5 of us) that are looking for a new server to play on.
We're gonna be looking for a very "mature" community that isn't easily triggered by having fun.
The group of us is aged from 18-23 (I think)
We can still send in applications, but its very difficult to find a community that won't get butthurt about the tiniest things.
I can confirm that all of us in this group are pretty decent builders, have never grief'd, and show respect when appropriate.
But anyways, just looking to see if anyone is actually looking for a small(ish) group of players to join together. We'd prefer a newer server since there are a few of us and actually want to put in work. WE ARE IN SERVERS FOR THE LONG RUN. WE DON'T JUST QUIT AFTER A SHORT WHILE. On our last server 4 of us were literally of the 7 most active players on a 20 some player server, and were ever since we were added.

-What are your strengths in MC?: Interior Decorating, Small house builds, and I really am trying to work on terraforming too, so lets toss that in here
-What are your weaknesses in MC?: Big builds and planning out builds. People who play with me will see that I place a lot of random blocks when I build in very weird places just to see what appeals to me and what doesnt.
-Is a strong and mature audience important to you?: I'd say so. I work on some pretty big construction sites IRL, so you can only imagine the language I hear on the daily. I know when to and when not to hold it back though, dont worry
-How active would you be if chosen?: I would play anywhere from a few times a week, to a multiple hours daily. I'm a lot more active when I have plans on the run for bases and builds and just general tasks in-game. I won't go inactive, but if I'm in between builds there may be a bit less play as I need to refresh for planning something new!
-Example of previous builds?: (pics below of my most recent base biome that never got completed because I thought it was time to move on from community ie they died :(.... also I'd have more pics, but this is what I managed to scrape up when I was doing my business, all terraforms from absolute scratch.)
