    It used to be bukkit but now that's gone, whats everyone using nowadays?

    I was thinking of putting the plot+survival world into one. Players can build where ever and protect there builds with Preciousstones, thoughts?

    That's what i was thinking aswell might be a bit to restricting for players. Any thought about how i could integrate a survival gameplay into the server?

    I'm aiming for custom plugins and when you say custom mobs do you mean fully new enemies or just zombies with different drops, stats etc..
    I'll be having tasks and quests. Tasks will be the boring kill 20 zombies for X prize and quests where you have to do like a mission by raiding or doing something cool.
    I'm already using the server texture with a few custom blocks and custom item textures :)

    Before i put more work into my server what would you say about it? complicated, good, bad, etc..

    I'll try to keep it short.
    Its a roleplay server themed as starwars that runs off a custom plugin (and others).

    Worlds
    - Survival/building world
    Default survival world where people can build anywhere and protect there builds manually.
    - Roleplay
    All the quests, shops, mobs etc are here
    - Minigame
    Arena's and scenery are here

    SWRP Plugin
    Classes
    Each class has its own special weapons,armor, and skills
    Parties
    Just like every other RPGMMO you can create parties and the exp is shared
    Skills
    At a special level-up you will gain a new skills or skill upgrade skills are basically powers or buffs
    Levels
    Each level will unlock the permission of a new weapon, armor, skill or skill upgrade
    Other
    Bosses, custom drops, custom exp.

    I'm setting up different chapters to progress through. Each chapter will contain a whole new area,(like a different planet) new quests, more variety to items in shops and loot. The RP area's will be enclosed so you cannot explore beyond the man made structures/terrain. It will also have pvp arena's: ffa, tdm, ctf, same old etc...

    What i'd like to know:
    What could be changed or improved?
    Is there a better way to layout the server? (Plots, chapters, worlds)
    After finishing the currently built chapters what can players do?
    Anything missing from a normal RP server that should be here??
    Is it too restricting or complicated for players?
    Should i keep the theme but do factions, survival or..?

    I've setup a 32x32 texture pack for my server and some textures just go really weird while other parts of the map are fine. Texturepack works 100% in singleplayer..


    Anyone know a fix about this issue?

    Hmm ill have ago at repacking it do you think it being 32x32 is the issue? 1.5 did bring out support for 32x32+ (HD)Texturepacks

    Nah not everyone will be bothered. Im trying to make it easy and its a RP server so the texturepack is highly recommended :/

    I've set this texturepack to download when players join. But its all glitchy as you can see in the pictures.

    But by putting the .zip in my texturepacks folder and enabling it and joining a single player world it works perfectly.
