Do the the developers know about the save glitch, someone needs to tell them about this.

ios has nothing to do with laziness.

Just now realized that MCPE is unplayable. If having Jeb f@ck up Minecraft pc wasn't bad enough, he's completely screwed over MCPE by making it unplayable. Is there no one on the f@cking planet they could hire who could make updates that don't mess up basic save game data. For the love of Notch why did you leave minecraft in the hands of such incompetent fools. I'd being even more furious if I couldn't go back to 0.5.0, and luckily I didn't update mcpe on my phone, just my tablet. However, I've been working months on an adventure map, and was going to use the new blocks to finish and release, but looks like that will be on hold. Guess I'll have to find some other game to play for the update fix, in about a month or two.

p.s. sorry for my rant, but I lost half a level in my adventure map because it didn't save:'(

Ya, I have that problem too. Placing and digging blocks won't save when I quit to title on both survival and creative. But in survival mode your inventory is saved, which means you can duplicate any block of your choosing. 0.6.0 is a very glitchy update, and who knows how long it'll take for a fixed update.

I was just mining some stone, and just quit to title to go do something, and when I got back on, the block was still there. I was like "didn't I just collect that block" so I checked my inventory and I did. I think it has something to do with auto saving being slightly delayed.

It does work, you just have to be very fast, and quit to title right as the block is destroyed. I'm on ios but it should work on either android too.

Found a way to get unlimited diamond, works for any block too! First, you'll have to find diamond ore. Now when you mine it and collect it, quickly pause and quit to title. Go back to the world and you'll have the diamond and the diamond ore block will still be there. You have to be fast, but you can do this as many times as you want. I didn't know if anyone knew this glitch or not, but I hope it helps!

Thank you everyone for all your help, I'll just try to remember to back-up my worlds from now on.

I redownloaded it, but there all gone! Also, I'm on iOS. Not sure if that makes any difference.

Accidently deleted minecraft app, are my worlds I made gone for good?

I'm currently working on a rather large map for MCPE. It's a dungeon escape game with mazes, parkour, and hidden collectibles. It's not finished left, but I'll let you know when it's done, if your interested. P.S- I'll try to post some screenshots of the map in its current state
