    And if your relativley new to Java, honestly, I wouldn't try that first. Go at if you want to, and all power to you because you'll learn alot if you end up making it work. It's just java's animation isn't the easiest thing to learn, especially for someone starting out.

    But seriously, if your up for it do it! :D It would be coooolio to see work.

    Oh, and I'd just look for a class that had Chest in the name, and then look for a onClick() or onLeftClick() method. I haven't actually looked at it so I wouldn't know if there even was anything like that. But that's what I would look for.

    Ahh, yeah, didn't have the specific methods to edit, sorry. I've never actually dealt with that code so I didn't know them anyway.

    Create a new class and call it whatever you want. For this example, I'm calling it YourClassName. It would look like this.

    public class YourClassName extends GuiButton {
    //Code goes here
    }

    In the //Code goes here, you could probably copy the GUIButton code and paste it, and edit some of the code to make it blue. Someone correct me if I'm wrong about this.

    So when you make the button for your GUI like this...

    GuiButton button = new GuiBUtton(...)

    you would instead use your above class name, because you created your own button object.

    YourClassName button = new YourClassName(...)

    I'm pretty sure that's what Caagr98 is talking about. I could be wrong though. :P

    It's just referencing the material the block is. There's a bunch of different materials you could play with. Nothing too drastic. Basically it determines whether you can hit it with your hands or not and what kind of tools are effecient on it, or, that's all I use it for. :)

    Whenever I add a name, usually your refrencing the name of the object. So the name of your Item is VanishingBoots. It looks as if your refrencing a string "VanishingBoots".

    So all my addNames look like this.

    ModLoader.addName(VanishingBoots, "Invisible Boots");

    posted a message on Lightning sword?
    Here, I actually just wrote this because I was interested in making this work. I got it to work when you hit a mob, not right click.

    public boolean hitEntity(ItemStack par1ItemStack, EntityLiving par2EntityLiving, EntityLiving par3EntityLiving)
    {
    	 fireEffect(3, par2EntityLiving);
    	 lightningEffect(par2EntityLiving);
    	 par1ItemStack.damageItem(1, par3EntityLiving);
    	 return true;
    }

    public void lightningEffect(EntityLiving par1EntityLiving)
    {
    	 double x = par1EntityLiving.posX;
    	 double y = par1EntityLiving.posY;
    	 double z = par1EntityLiving.posZ;
    	 World world = par1EntityLiving.worldObj;
    	 EntityLightningBolt lightning = new EntityLightningBolt(world, x, y, z);
    	 lightning.setPosition(x, y + 1, z);
    	 world.spawnEntityInWorld(lightning);
    }

    Don't worry about the fireEffect method, that's my own and does not play in with the lightning. Hope this helps and let me know if it works. :)
