I noticed how Ruxel failed; and concluded that I was restricting myself too much with colors, didn't take so much time in choosing them, and had a total lack of antialias. So I tried making a little plank with 7 colors, using more antialias and everything. Still kinda looks like light came from below instead of looking like the planks are somehow diagonal.
edit: slightly edited the texture, desaturated it and some little tweaks
Okay, now it looks diagonal. Fixed it, I'm done with it
Guys I'm back! I'm not sure if I am going to continue making texture packs, but hey just here to say hi! For those who don't know me, I was a texture pack maker like 2 years ago. For those who know me say hi!
I have been wondering about coming back here and give texturing another chance started playing a bit again, i hope i can get better then i got last time and so on
So im pretty bad at making the color template or what its called, getting the shading right and all, so if someone could link me to one or help me make one i have tried to make one by tutorial but yeah dident work so well will also upload my former work
Guys! Long time no see! Been very busy with rl so I haven't had time to post any textures. I have started working on another resource pack that's inspirated by Adrian von Ziegler's music and dark medieval ages. It's 128x hd resolution textures with experimental comic horror style. I used smooth brush for making textures and pure black for dark shades to create as authentic comic style as it's possible with Photoshop and mouse.

So I've been working some more on my pack, and was wondering if you guys would like to give some opinions (positive or negative):
New birch trees, reeds, ores, diorite and stone. Would love to hear how you guys think about how the different stone textures mesh, as well as general feedback. The water's new too, but a screenshot can't do it justice.
Very nice, I really like the ores. I love that birch

Hello

Hey guys so I've been working on a texturepack for sometime now. It is a medieval styled texturepack and I'm thinking of calling it Before Dusk.
If anyone has any better name suggestions, please tell
I've just finished the skybox, tell me what you guys think about it.
