Once EE3, RP2, TC2, and Logistics Pipes are ready, they'll all be in FTB. Only Laser Mod will not (at least, nobody's announced anything).

As for adding EE3 now, make sure you're using a 1.4.2 version. That's all I can say. Alpha mods like it seem to have compatibility issues with other stuff, or they might require an up-to-date version of Forge. Stuff happens.

Yeah, that's true for Redpower, but you *should* only have to worry about the trees in Thaumcraft generating. The crystals should pull that magic that randomly changes existing smooth stone into crystal upon running.

These "alpha" mods, what are they?? (sorry if stupid question)

i'm guessing the error your getting is "slot <number> is being used by <modname>" which means blockID or ItemID

by going to ee3 config you can change said ID to another ID to get it to work
Yeah maybe, I'll try again some other time, but anybody know other modpacks (so not technic/tekkit or FTB)

try FTB mod pack it's the most uptodate modpack out there and if there isn't a mod in there installed, you can install it easily with there launcher by editing the mod pack
I'm aware of the FTB modpack but when I tried to add a mod to it (equivalent exchange I think it was) everything just crashed and so I didn't use it. Link to a working (working!!) tutorial on how to add mods to FTB?

A lot of those are in Technic.
True, but it's still missing a couple mods like Portal Gun Mod, Laser Mod,Logistics Pipes and Forestry, which all have very good uses, and im not sure if it currently has Buildcraft 3.

Right, I've been looking all over the internet and can't find any real, good, modpack. I'm looking for a modpack that has all the big epic mods
    Buildcraft 3 (with extra bits)
    Industrial Craft (with extra bits)
    Thaumcraft 2 (3?)
    Equivalent Exchange 2
    Portal mod
    Railcraft (version whatever)
    Forestry (with extra bits)
    Steve's Carts
    Redpower 2 (pre whatever)
    Laser Mod
    Logistics Pipes
    Laser Mod
    Inventory Tweaks
    Ender Storage
    Iron Chests
    Thermal Expansion
    Extra Crap for Nuclear Reactors
    Factorization
    Mystcraft
    NEI
Some mod that puts special/epic structures in places
All the stuff to make everything work together (MC Forge etc)
(Any other mods that people want to put or that are in a modpack)

I do realize this is a VERY bug request as there are a lot of mods that I'm asking for but any help is VERY appreciated.
    Ways to help:
    - Link to modpack
    - Make a minecraft with mods, link to me (I have tried numerous times.... and failed)
    - Create folder with everything I need (including config and core mods, I have problems with these)
    - Any other helpful help

Btw I'm care that much about what verison of minecraft I need to use, but preferably between verisons: 1.2.5 - 1.4.4

Thank you to anyone that helps!

You Extract it then open the Installer with Java

I can't help with that, but I suggest turning Fancy to Fast and Smooth Lighting OFF. Maybe you can turn Far to Normal
Thank you very much. what i needed was you to say "extract" cause instead i had done "open with" winrar and now it works. i just tried it for 30 seconds and have to say IT IS AMAZING! thank you so much for making this mod pack. though it is true that it will lag if you dont have a fast enough computer. I has an alienware m18x and i just had to switch performance to Max FPS and it works fine THANK YOU

turns out that i hadnt changed the edited minecraft.jar back into the .jar (instead of folder) so i just decompiled the normal jar with no modloader -_- and decompile still doesnt work :(

BaseMod.java << this is the main java file your need to make it work ..
if that one isnt decompiled your doing something wrong.

ehmm i dont see anny texture overrides in that pice of code ... you send ..
show the whole code ?? or add the texture part ...
hehe im trying to help :)

post your whole code you writen for that item.
and no that dusnt mean its not installed it means it cant find it yet ..

and maby try a Block first ?? Items are harder to make than blocks when your new like me :)
and try using eclipse .. that program helped me alot ..
is there a difference between editrocket an eclipse (im on mac) and what i did is i copied word for word what it said in Tech Guy's tutorial, of course i changed the name and the place for the texture and i made the two files i needed and ended both with .java
so i have no idea whats going on. im having so much trouble just decompiling with modloader installed.

or is it possible that i need to create the 2 new files but also edit other ones? i really need someone to help me....i cant get this right

now that i think about it, when i open the minecraft.jar with archive utility and put in the modloader files (over-writing the old ones), do i then get rid of the "minecraft.jar" and compress the folder (with modloader) into a .jar?

and no there is no BaseMod.java in the list

Could someone possibly give/make me a 100% accurate and detailed "guide" as to how to decompile. (including stuff like "go to terminal and type **** then drag in the *****.** file) i am on a MAC! thanks to anyone that does this :D
