Is it even allowed to copy over code? I think not.
Copy/pasting code is the most commonly thing done in all of programming. If we had to re-invent the wheel every time we did something, we'd be getting nowhere. It's perfectly fine to copy the pre-existing code. In fact it's definitely the best thing to do.
Everything is working great - and I'm not sure if this is a Minecraft.net issue, but I logged in once and now I get a "failed to verify username" error upon logging in. Anyone else have this problem? online-mode=true, static IP with ports forwarded correctly, etc.
EDIT: Looks to be Minecraft.net. I set online-mode to false, and I can get in now.
That's not it. My brother is connected for some reason.
Yes, that is it. You only need to connect to Minecraft.net when you log in, to make sure your password is correct. The servers weren't overloaded when your brother logged in, but they are now.
LOVE THE POTIONS! Keep making more! An idea could be a potion that increases player speed and another one that increases jump height. I would be all over those :tongue.gif:
Exactly what I plan on doing in the near future =]
It works in theory but the way the game is coded you still need to register individual items for each combination possible. The game is also limited to about 150 more sprites. If this limitation were lifted, we could still only fit about 35,000.
Potion mod looks goooood, will the bomb potion hurt the user though? I think it should grant you immunity to the blast incase you want to use it in a small space, like mining underground.
I don't really want to change that because there's really no way of actually explaining why it doesn't hurt you (other than I just made it that way). If you can come up with some explanation that actually makes sense, I might do that. I'd be complicated though.

He was speaking in terms of a variable class name. Not "ModelYourMob.java" specifically.

Thanks for the suggestion nonetheless.
