But danger is what makes the story interesting. There needs to be some storyline! If its just all happy and everyone is fine at the start and end, what will we have to read?
That's my point why you need more than one main character. Then the player likely can't get in that much danger without actually dying unless he had a friend that eventually found him or was with him.

Well, the stories I think of sometimes are me (Fossil, I have a blaze skin with clothes I made and a whole story to how I became humanoid shaped) and a Wither Skeleton friend I knew since childhood that still lives in the Nether but visits sometimes. So, in short, a group of heroes is better, makes it more interesting, allows friendships, and more characters that you can grow attached to. Plus then if the main character would never get in danger since nobody would be there to save him.
No, 1-2 years, I don't care what they did, people change, and if they didn't change and do something again, then another 1-2 years, keep doing this until they stop, or forever if they don't because a permaband they might eventually change after and want to come back.
Stop telling him to get mods. You need to try and enjoy the game for itself before you go onto mods, if you can't enjoy vanilla, chances are it's not your type of game. It's sad that so many people think the game is boring without mods, watch youtube videos and see the amazing and fun things you can do.
So I have been using my custom blaze skin for a while now, and I need a complete change. The fact that it is pretty much a demon kind of bothers me, I want something more cheerful.
I kind of like animal skins, but I like other skins too. I just need some ideas to change this skin, I will also be making a youtube channel someday so something that can still work with my username (Fossildude747) would help. I will be editing/making one from scratch, I just need ideas.
It's not specifically a kids game, kids play it, but that doesn't make it a kids game. Stampy is around 24, Sky is like 20, other youtubers probably similar ages, DanTDM around 22, they all still play it and there is no problem with that. And plenty of teens play it.
There is a space-oriented server. There are lots of planets you can fly to, with resources and environments varying on each one. You do contracts to get money, such as delivering items to space stations or hunting down a pirate for their data core. You can make spaceships, starting off with the basic ones, and unlock upgrades for your spaceships. There are a lot more features too!

I was in the same situation as you. Faction servers, prison servers, sky block servers... nothing really new. But this server is truly unique.
I will check that out! Hopefully the community is nice there, one of the main reasons I loved the first server, plus some unique things.
As for the other posts, thanks! One of my friends still plays but his pc broke a while ago, they are getting a new one soon, but I need some nice servers/things to entertain me until he gets back (maybe even show him the servers)

Ok, so I have been playing this game since 1.5.2, and I used to love it. Played on servers, with friends, with mods, vanilla, started to build maps, stuff like that, and I again, loved it.
I am back from a 5 month break and, it's just not fun to me now. I love the game and want it to be fun, but nothing in it is fun to me anymore. I went on the first server I ever used, nobody is there that I know now, it's a lot worse than it used to be and it made me tear up a little bit that I will never get the amazing feeling of minecraft that I had on a server or singleplayer again. Every server is basically the same old factions or minigames and stuff like that now, and it's just boring to me but I love the game!
I need help getting back into it, but I just can't find a way, I tried everything. I am glad that I am no longer addicted to it but I still want to enjoy this amazing game. This is also just gaming in general, now I am more interested in real life stuff like paleontology, which is good, but I still want to enjoy gaming.
It would be great if you helped. But we may need to get a team together with different skills for the mod. What can you do in modding Ghost_Colonel(like what are you good at, models, textures, mechanics etc)
But yep i agree it's a great idea but needs improvement. I just came up with a basic idea for it. Glad to see another FF fan (ughh i wanna advertise my FF forum so bad right now but ya know, rules)
And now with frontier out I wonder if the frontier battle system might be easier to create.
I also would like to mention that this is not planned to be a pixelmon copy. I just used the things like a VMM working like a PC to describe it easier.
With all the new things in Fossil Fighters Frontier I might add or replace some of the ideas.
