There are only two thoughts I've had while playing with Thaumcraft, one is that I didn't like having to go around and (for the most part) mine out minerals myself, I'd like to have some sort of "quarry" type thing for wizards, of course to me this amounts to being able to summon and control an extraplanar minion, or 2, or 4, or a dozen *cough*, equip/upgrade him with gear, and send my new little slave(s) off hunting for a specific mineral, or just randomly mining underground/chopping trees/farming etc, I don't know where this fits into the eldritch style of things TC has goin on but... well to be totally honest I just want to be able to have little elemental minions, or creatures, to do my bidding. (Yes this was very much influenced by the wonderful Minions mod).
Another thing that stuck out to me was the layout of the Obelisk rooms underneath each of the... obelisks... ahem... anyway. I always felt like this gave itself to an easy modular underground impenetrable stronghold/research lab. Certain "gate" sigils could be made and activated on a wall to create different rooms allowing the player to form their own custom fortress essentially, whether they just want a few labs and a bedroom, or a massive underground stronghold.
This seems like a really awesome mod! If you need any help I've been looking to get into modding, only have one year of college classes but this is the kind of thing I'd love to help out on! P.S. I'm good at commentation :P.
If no, than I still can't WAIT for this to be updated to 1.3.2 (or 1.3.1) so I can use it in my personal mods :3 really original and impressive amount of work!

You have no idea how useful something so simple can be do you? I like to play in between classes and will often lose track of time, because of your mod I wasn't late all day best mod on the forum in my opinion

I did videos for awhile a few months back but I realized not long after that the videos I was doing were sub par, mostly due to my equipment. Characters Full Name: Jamben "Swiftfists" Droverson (I've rped this guy before, I plan on making him a brawler, as the nicky suggests, though that might be difficult :S) Age: 24 Gender: Male In-Game Skin (Picture): (Dont have one right now, currently using an orc, will switch for on server however.) Personality: Likes to joke around, can be rude but always apologizes if he realizes it. Doesn't take well to criticism, but will acknowledge anothers point of view. Not much of a weapons guy, prefers to duke it out. Jamben is a brawler, he's tough and lean and makes sure his opponent knows it. Jamben earned the nickname Swiftfists originally because of his thieving career and his quick slick hands. Jamben is a show off and can't say no to a dare, especially when his ability is called into question, even jokingly. This has resulted in more arrests than his actual criminal career has. Jamben is a big softy once you get to know him and a bit of a flirt but he will protect his friends more ferociously than he would himself. Jamben is also a hot head, and will often fight someone even knowing he can't win but he's never stupid enough to do something that could result in more than a butt kicking (read= death).
Some Backstory: Jamben's mother died when he was 7 giving birth to his younger brother who is currently across sea's. Not long after his mother died Jamben recieved a message that his father had died and was believed to be a traitor, Jamben and his brother were driven into the streets. Jamben spent his younger years as a pickpocket and petty thief, stealing coin to buy food or, when the coin was too hard, the food itself. As Jamben grew up he found he was almost a natural in a fist fight and a street fighter, called Shadowpaw for his amazing false swings, took Jamben in and taught him to fight, when Jamben turned 16 he had his first fight, which he won, and began earning money himself, able to take care of Aoiadon (his brother) with money instead of stealing Jamben took to fighting. Now he has decided to take up smithing and try and make a real, honest living.(Show off, hot headed, kind hearted, thief, brawler)
((NOTICE:: I'll keep the brawling and thieving as more of a backstory... I want to work my way up to being an amazing brawler and master thief, not start off that way, I just have some early level knowledge because of history. I know The Test is supposed to replace the backstory bit, but that was some I wanted in there.

Jamben: What do you mean full!? I can see the keys for the empty room behind you!
Innkeep: No sir! By "full" I mean their ummm *thinking quickly* reserved!
Jamben: Reserved! *sigh* Please, I just need one night, I'll pay double! *reaches for his coin pouch and pulls out several dozen coins* Please?
Innkeep: I'm sorry sir, I said the rooms are full, and that's that! Go sleep in the streets if you are that tired!
Jamben: Why you little! *grabs the innkeep by the collar of his tunic*
Guard: *stands up from his table, mug of grog in his hand* Is there something wrong here?
Jamben: This RAT won't rent me a room! He say's they're all "full"!
Guard: If he says they're full than they're full, get out of here!
Jamben: *glares at guard, drops innkeep and steps toward the guard*
Guard: Careful now *puts hand on sword hilt, two other guards stand up* you wouldn't want any trouble now, would you?
Jamben: *grimaces in frustration speech is forced* No... "officer".. *Walks out slowly*
*A few hours later the lights go out in the inn Jamben walks up to the door and twists the handle*
*The door is locked.*
*Jamben kneels down and pulls out his kit, grabbing the smaller of his torsion wrenches and, upon examining the lock one of his shallow half diamond head picks*
*After picking away for a few moments the lock clicks and the handle turns allowing Jamben to go inside.*
*Jamben walks behind the counter, picks up the key under the plaque "Royal Suite" and heads upstairs*
*To Self* Jamben: If your gonna steal a room, steal one that's comfy.
*Jamben makes an impression of the key in his lockbox*
*Jamben unlocks the door to the royal suite, steps in, locks the door behind him, kicks off his shoes and shirt and drops into the large bed*
*To Self* Jamben: Fit for a king *chuckles* I kill myself.

Secrets: Thief because he had to steal to protect and feed his younger brother when they were children; mother died during birth of his younger brother, father died in the war not long after.
Flaws: Hot-headed = Picks fights he knows he can't win (as long as he knows he won't die or get someone else in trouble); Show-off = will take almost any dare, especially when abilities called into question; Distrusting = it's hard to get on Jambens good side, to be his friend, but it pays off big time; Confident = normally not a flaw but Jamben is so confident as to take silly risks.Finally got my app in the right place :tongue.gif: currently this is in the sword post, and the sword forums (under introductions) AND the shield forums (under introductions) now it's FINALLY here... :biggrin.gif: yay me!

I read this, saw the number of pages, and decided to just assume that this statement is still true. If there's any way I can help I'd be glad to, I'm a coder, if you tell me what you want I'll deliver. I saw you already have a coder, but with 151 pokemon (just in the first gen, and if you decide to go beyond that *long whistle*) I'm sure they could use some help somewhere. If not, sorry to bother you.
