posted a message on Why do people try to get famous on Youtube?
You know, you could also be doing it for fun. Not everyone is trying to be famous when they get onto Youtube. Some people just make content because they enjoy making content. Money for some would just be an incentive to keep doing it and to put more time onto it. But, besides the few people that do it this way, thousands do it for money. It's just inevitable. When one person gets an absurd amount of money doing something incredible easy, one thousand follow.

To the people that think gaming commentors are all bad at video games. Why don't you try to talk and think of somewhat interesting things to say while playing a video game? It's not easy, and certainly doesn't mean they're automatically bad at all video games.

I can't even run those games and I got them. I'll never get them this cheap again, so why not?

    posted a message on Worst/Most Annoying Fandoms/fanbases?
I don't dislike any fanbase, as most of the time it's the vocal minority that create negative perceptions. They just seem like the majority because they're the vocal ones. Though vocal minorities can vary in annoyance.

Microsoft isn't an evil company for adding DRM in the first place. They did the exact thing Sony would've did if they had the opportunity to do so in order to make more money off of advertising and the casual crowd. Sony is just as greedy as Microsoft and even Nintendo. They're all buisnesses looking to profit in whatever way they can. Microsoft only backtrack because they weren't going to get much money off of pre-orders.

Microsoft doesn't need to redeem themselves. They needed to adjust to what the consumer wanted. They did that. Now the only difference is kinect, price, and exclusives. If you want the cheaper console without kinect, go ahead and buy it. If you want to stick with Microsoft, go ahead. Most of the differences now lie on personal preference. So if you prefer Microsoft, buy Microsoft.

Also, to anyone here boasting PC superiority. Stop complaining about how consoles are inferior. They serve and a cheaper and easier alternative to gaming and will work just fine for the mass majority of people. Not everyone can or wants to build an expensive computer just for gaming. Some people prefer the streamlined alternative because they get all the games they prefer working in HD without any issues whatsoever with hardware, software, or really anything that could come up while gaming on a PC. It's an alternative, but it's equal to consoles. Neither is superior because they both fit different purposes and have different pros and cons.

well TLoU charted #1 on UK charts for 6 (or more) weeks in a row.
usually that means its a overhyped game.

    Fixed that for ya.

But besides that, Saints Row: The Third takes that title. I loved the excentric-ness of it, it was fun. Just Cause 2 hits second.

It's a casual flash-like game. That's all. I have plenty of free flash games I can play that offer more depth and addiction.

Neither. Why classify music based on unnecessary classifications? It's just music.

posted a message on is it ok to advertise my channel on youtube
If you make good content, you'll be fine. Especially on a share friendly service like Youtube. Though Minecraft Forum may not be the best place to gain a dedicated following if your videos aren't worth it.

Yes, it is okay. A signature would be the best place, or in the Arts section if you choose to if your work hold creativity. Just don't post about it in an off-topic way.

Trolling = Idiotic bullying and namecalling

Trolling has de-evolved. Now it's just a catchy name for the above that the masses use as a flag of reassurance.

Gamers have not gotten worse over the years. Neither have the games. Changing tastes and pointless reassurance is the only reason people see such idiocy. Luckily, those people are the vocal minority and will have little effect on the gaming industry as a whole.

Also, Microsoft is not evil, just stupid and greedy. Like any corperation, including Sony and Nintendo.

posted a message on Anime/Manga Discussions
The only two animes I've watched fully through are Death Note and Soul Eater. Death Note was decent in the beginning but dragged on in the end and Soul Eater was somewhat good. I took it more as satire that anything else though, so this may be a misguided opinion. Plus, the plot kept together until the pacing completly lost itself near the end and huge foes dissapeared with cliche solutions. The manga looks good though, so I might check it out.

posted a message on Fallout: 3 - Questions n' stuff!
    Quote from Tim_The_Hero

    Questions remaining:
Q: All the stuff I find around in the world, (the crapy stuff) is there a use to them?
A: Depends on the item. You should be more specific. Although even the worst item can be use with the Rock-It Launcher you can get in the game.

Q: How do I make weapons?
A: Find the blueprint for it, get the necessary materials, and you're set. The Dart gun is deadly in the right hands. Focus on that one first. The others don't even rival it.

Q: Is there a way I can join the brotherhood of Steel?
A: Play the story, or read this thread and be spoiled. Either way, you'll be happy.

Q: Can I repair my own wepons?
A: Yes, with another copy of said weapon.

If you need any help on other subjects, the Fallout Wiki would be a great place to look.

Enjoy the game. Trust me, it's a great experience.

    Also.
    Quote from Defishensee

    Fallout 3 > New Vegas.

New Vegas is the better game and the better Fallout, but Fallout 3 has much better atmosphere and a much more interesting overworld. They're both great in there own ways. To OP, play both and decide, it's a matter of personal preference.

posted a message on Am I the only one who prefers the Wii U over the PS4 and Xbox One?
Why are you judging the PS4 and Xbox One before the release date? How can you tell what your opinion will be? Give them a chance when they come out. Your preference may change.

To the debate in this thread. The Wii-U is not bad. The hardware is outdated, but it's just not getting the support it needs. Not from Third Parties or from Nintendo. With the proper support and marketing it could still be great. It's been less than a year, things could change. Look at the 3DS if you want a proper example.

Not that I don't like the show, I actually find it pretty good, its just that, is it a coincidence that there are ALOT of bronies on this website. Not, exactly sure how you can reply to this. :)

sry, im running out of ideas

Ignoring the debate that is sure to have spawned in this thread, it really isn't a coincidence. Especially with the longstanding thread that may/may not still exist here. (Been gone for a while, I haven't checked yet.) I would blame it on interest. Some people want to express there interest, some want to defend it. Either way, the complaining in this thread is useless, it's an interest people. You aren't going to change anything with pretensious complaining. You're just acting like a closed minded individual. The internet is not the place for that.
