    This is a great idea in my opinion. To all of the haters, I understand what you're getting at.

    Please remember, I am just stating my opinion on the topic. If my answer makes you mad, pretend you never heard it.

    :unsure:

    Thanks,

    How can I make Witch Huts to spawn?

    try this:

    Quote from TheMasterCaver

    biome_1 tells the game to make biome-specific features like temples and witch huts and only has any effect in desert, jungle, and swamp biomes; villages may also be considered to be biome specific but have their own code; there is no way to make only ores generate unless you add them as layers (it would be a good idea to make ores a separate option though).

    :D hope it helpedany other issues or concerns I can help :D

    Basically, you are editing the default, but I didn't say you absolutely NEEDED to edit the mcmeta file. The person who created this was asking how to make a full on language file, not just part of it.

    Taiine, that was a suggestion for the people who had it not work for them. So, if this worked for me, it should work for everyone else who cant do the other thing. Yes, I understand that if we only want to make minor changes we can do what the lemon guy suggested. that's good too. but for whoever actually wanted to change the names, it works in this way. Understand?

    help! I am very confused and I need help! I want to make a completely superflat world with nothing else besides strongholds, grass on top and ores where there aren't strongholds. Strictly: NO TREES. Sorry to tree lovers, but I hate it when they get in the way on superflat worlds when you just want to enjoy a day with nice, flat, solitude. Can someone help me understand the coding please? Thanks! Yours truly,

    ~FlufferKittens:steve_joyous: thank you to who helps mebtw not grass decorations, grass blocks

    Guys, just to warn you this language will not work because you have to edit your mcmeta to have the new language inside.
    Like so:

    {
    "pack":{
    "pack_format":1,
    "description":"Nuthin"
    },
    "language":{
    "en_KC":{
    "name":"CatSpeak",
    "region":"KC",
    "bidirectional":false
    }
    }
    }

    But make sure yours is the language you put. Copy it exactly from the little top bar.
    I will show you what the original mc meta language file looks like:

    {
    "pack":{
    "pack_format":1,
    "description":"Resource pack sample"
    },
    "language":{
    "LANG_COUNTRY":{
    "name":"Language name",
    "region":"Country/region name",
    "bidirectional":false
    }
    }
    }

    please note the parts you have to change are color coded.

    Make sure you copy the above text for your new pack mcmeta and open up your version of the en_US lang file and make sure you copy the top three lines in the red areas, LANG_COUNTRY stands for en_US. Hint; thats the name of your file, whatever you named it.
    If you need more help you can message me. Thanks!
    ~FlufferKittensP.S. oh yeah and dont change the bidirectional part unless you like reading from right to left instead of left to right.

    This is how the new skin layout looks with my new skin..

    [ABOVE image] New skin front and back [BELOW image] The skin layout (size multiplied by 4, original size 64x64)

    NOTE: The image of the full minecraft player with new skin is a bit buggy (those weird lines between the body and the legs) since i uploaded it to the database via the minecraft profile page, the problem may be with the new database migration.. The skin layout is right, as it works perfectly in offline mode with the skin in a custom resource pack that overrides the steve.png

    Can I borrow that skin of yours? Because, I can't find any skin editors with the, quote, "new skin format"
