Hoops' absence is no excuse for lack of people. It's a reason for mourning, perhaps, but not for people to just leave the server. Most people still play during the school year, and plenty don't even have school, so that's not much of one either.
It's not very empty.. I think we should build underneath the baleen. That and the area beyond toward kron's house I think it is? may be what's giving it the open appearance.

Bit off topic but if it's like one image you made in Photoshop, upload it to TinyPic, Photobucket, or Imageshack, then get the direct link, and put that in your signature (Go to User Control Panel, Click the Profile tab, then click "edit signature" on the left.) with .
Anyway, to make this post on topic, also, I think we should have the park on our own SMP server. I mean, sharing the server with other people seems like it would be weird, and possibly the park may get sabotaged or something. Our own server seems like the best way (at least for me).
Just inputting my own opinion, but personally I find it a little harder to read than I'd like. I mean, it's still easily readable, but change the text just a tiny bit and it would be great, IMO.

Well I have been within about 100-150 blocks of it at any time, or usually about 20-ish blocks away.. Idk how big a "chunk" is, but I think that should be close enough.. I'm going to try putting torches right next to it, too.
Also: I'm on Peaceful (CASUAL! NOOB! blah blah blah, whatever..) Idk if that changes growing tactics or anything (Idk why it would..) but I go in my inventory and let it play for quite a while, too.. I just made it so that there are 2 torches immediately next to each block, so hopefully that will help..

I'm trying to make a large plot of land up in the air, and get grass to grow on the floating dirt I placed, but it's not working. I remember hearing a long time ago that grass won't grow on dirt if there isn't grass already nearby. So I built a dirt staircase going from the grass on the ground up to my platform, thinking the grass would grow up each block on the staircase and eventually, get to my platform and then spread out. The grass grew on the first block up, then stopped there.
So, please, does anyone know how I could go about migrating grass up to my platform? If I'm too vague in my description, I could give you guys pictures if you need it.
Making it look drawn would be one of the details you should have included, hah. But, it's cool. Photoshop isn't really good for "drawing" things in, so I don't really think I could make it drawn, although I thought the rollercoaster was pretty good for a drawing-ish look. But it's cool, glad I could try. :tongue.gif:
Uhm, Renders are pictures with a transparent background that are added to the picture easily. Details would mean explain how you would like the picture to look.. But I'll get working on something like the picture you provided right now. :biggrin.gif: If you have any minecrafty renders you want me to add, that'll be easily done.
I could make a logo if you want.. Just give me the details and render(s) you want used in it and I'll work based off of that.. (Sorry, I'm not very pro at all with photoshop, so it might not be amazing.. Just saying.)

Back when I hosted the CMP Server had at least 4 people on no matter what.. Even at like midnight on a weekday there'd be like 5 or 6 people on.
