I have a great set of mods installed, mostly centered around Immersive Portals. "Pehkui" allows for re-sizing the player, and using portals of different sizes does this in a clever way: walk into the bigger portal and come out the smaller one, and you're smaller! I also have "Gravity Changer", which allows each entity to have its own gravity direction (N/S/E/W/U/D), but if I make a portal with one side vertical and the other horizontal, after I go through, I orient back to the default vertical.
Is there a way to make traveling through such a portal re-orient my gravity direction? I know the portals can be at any angle and the gravity can only be in 6 discrete directions, but I'm sure it can just be rounded to the nearest of the six.
It works fine in All the Mods 9! I put my packs together in MultiMC; even starting just from scratch with Create alone doesn't work. I'll try the vanilla launcher to be thorough. ... Ok, it does work in the vanilla launcher. Weird...
I've tried various versions of Forge and Create, but it keeps giving me an error about Flywheel failing to load. As I understand, Flywheel is now bundled with the Create JAR; what am I doing wrong?

Warf, that's less than ideal! I built the tank right under my basement and put dark glass in the floor so it can double as an aquarium, but without the glow squids, it just looks black from the outside. >< I guess I'll have to make a separate tank for the ink sac grinder, or just rethink the design from scratch...
Glow Squids and Axolotls seem to have exactly the same spawn conditions (light level 0 and natural stone ≤5 blocks below), which at first seemed like a handy auto-killing feature for my squid farm, but in practice the mob cap quickly fills with axolotls and the squid stop spawning. Swimming around killing the axolotls as they spawn *kinda* works, but I'd much rather have the tank filled with glow squid and I just kill them with my Looting III sword when I need the glow ink sacs.
Anyone know a way to stop the axolotls from spawning?
Is there a way to disable/hide the little "!" triangles on the profile icons? I clicked on "don't show again for this profile" but it still shows the "warning" icon on everything that isn't the latest release or snapshot.

I exported the "worldgen_settings_export.json" file from my world, and not only does it not contain "legacy_biome_init_layer", it is quite large at 14.7 kB, as opposed to what xylonn72 posted. I've been playing on this world for over 5 years, and this isn't the first time something got broken and I had to fix it with NBT's and JSON's, but I'm completely lost as to what needs to be edited! Ok, for the sake of anyone else having this problem and finding this page, you have to set your Launcher Profile to use Java 8. Mine was using 11 before.

I have a great set of mods installed, mostly centered around Immersive Portals. "Pehkui" allows for re-sizing the player, and using portals of different sizes does this in a clever way: walk into the bigger portal and come out the smaller one, and you're smaller! I also have "Gravity Changer", which allows each entity to have its own gravity direction (N/S/E/W/U/D), but if I make a portal with one side vertical and the other horizontal, after I go through, I orient back to the default vertical.
Is there a way to make traveling through such a portal re-orient my gravity direction? I know the portals can be at any angle and the gravity can only be in 6 discrete directions, but I'm sure it can just be rounded to the nearest of the six.

Warf, that's less than ideal! I built the tank right under my basement and put dark glass in the floor so it can double as an aquarium, but without the glow squids, it just looks black from the outside. >< I guess I'll have to make a separate tank for the ink sac grinder, or just rethink the design from scratch...

Glow Squids and Axolotls seem to have exactly the same spawn conditions (light level 0 and natural stone ≤5 blocks below), which at first seemed like a handy auto-killing feature for my squid farm, but in practice the mob cap quickly fills with axolotls and the squid stop spawning. Swimming around killing the axolotls as they spawn *kinda* works, but I'd much rather have the tank filled with glow squid and I just kill them with my Looting III sword when I need the glow ink sacs.
Anyone know a way to stop the axolotls from spawning?

Is there a way to disable/hide the little "!" triangles on the profile icons? I clicked on "don't show again for this profile" but it still shows the "warning" icon on everything that isn't the latest release or snapshot.

I exported the "worldgen_settings_export.json" file from my world, and not only does it not contain "legacy_biome_init_layer", it is quite large at 14.7 kB, as opposed to what xylonn72 posted. I've been playing on this world for over 5 years, and this isn't the first time something got broken and I had to fix it with NBT's and JSON's, but I'm completely lost as to what needs to be edited! In case it matters, it's a custom map that I play Survival on, and the original can be found here: https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/eldaria-island---custom-terrain-mc-10---end-portal/ (last updated for MC 1.6)

Ok, for the sake of anyone else having this problem and finding this page, you have to set your Launcher Profile to use Java 8. Mine was using 11 before.
