Hello Every one my name is FlexXTheGreat, feel free to call me Flex. Anyway I heard from a youtube vid I watched by thinknoodles that a golden carrot is the most saturating item in minecraft, so I gave myself hunger for 15 minutes and drank milk at the point when it started to hurt me. So I ate the golden carrot and it gave me 3 hunger points. I did this again then ate a steak and it gave me 4 hunger points. So I am confused if this is in the snapshot becouse the vid was but I was in 1.7.2, or if They were misinformed, or possibly I did something wrong in my testing. Please tell me and give me feed back about this.

The reason This does not work is that villagers see houses as solid blocks surrounding a door otherwise they just see the doors as blocks in there way. So by placing stairs above the doors (Stairs being nonsolid blocks) The Villagers don't see them as houses.
You do realize that this challenge is near impossible in the fact that the wither can two shot you even with diamond armor on, and the factor of no escape from the dragon in the end. Plus what do you do once you take damage, do you just delete the world or do you wait until you die (not counting the time)
