    BACKSTORY AND CHARACTER IMAGE BELOW

Carter grew up on the Orion Station with his parents and brothers, impoverished and in dire straits. Carter spent most of his childhood with his friends, studying and getting into small fights with other children. More often than not, Carter was strongly disadvantaged in fights. His friends were often targets of being bullied, and he almost always stood up for them. However, he was very small as a young boy, and not too strong against his much more developed opponents. Carter was taught a valuable lesson by his mother one day - If you invest time or energy into something and get nothing back, it's not worth either. Carter took this advice to heart, and began study. He studied great spymasters and generals, taking their learning and lessons to heart. As soon as puberty rolled around he bloomed rather fast. Armed with this new knowledge and strength, he began to invade other children's' lives. He stole diaries, piggy banks, and prized possessions. Though he made a bit of cash off the piggy banks and ransomed' possessions, he figured out that diaries, information, is the most valuable coin, and the most deadly poison. Learning futile things like crushes, drug deals, and misdoings. With these blackmailed secrets he bent the arm of his enemies, and turned those former bullies into proxies. Through them he organized their work into something much more serious, as the base blocks to his metaphorical pyramid. Months later, he realised that these small things like diaries would run out, especially being such an out of date thing. He looked into the basics of hacking with small workaround to start, but with a help from a brother who was a strong programmer he was able to make viruses, trojans, and rootkits to steal info constantly and passively. Time came and an organized pirate group came to Carter and his brother once, offering a handsome settlement for security grade weapons. He wanted Carter and his brother to get into the authorities' mainframe and open the armory for the pirates. His brother, more hesitant, initially disagreed because they weren't too skilled yet, and the government would find out most certainly. Carter, instantly accepted, for a down payment. And after some persuasive talks Carter got his money and was now to deliver a promise. It took only days until authorities came knocking that Carter and his brother were suspected of trying to break into the mainframe, but playing dumb given their young age easily got them out more than a few times. Carter eventually approached the police anonymously, saying if they pay a certain amount they will be glad to sell out who's breaking into the mainframe, with some proof of an audio recording of the meeting - With him and his brothers' voice very distorted. The authorities agreed, and Carter set up the pirates to get to the armory in a break in, and armed police would be waiting to get the drop on the pirates. The plan went well up until the point that the pirates actually captured the armory, as the police only sent two guards to actually defend the place due to disbelief in Carter's evidence and plan. The pirates realised they had been betrayed, and Carter had to leave. He snuck aboard the nearest freighter, which was heading to Cassiopeia station. Once there, he used the bounty given by the police in his anonymous account and the last of his earned cash to blend in, and attend Cassiopeia's prestigious college. Paranoid he'd be hunted down and killed, he studied martial arts, quickly becoming a sort of prodigy. He also studied more hacking and programming, as without his brothers' master virus he wouldn't be able to get in computers so easily. He used this skill to break into accounts to pay for his college and daily living, by silently siphoning money out of multiple accounts. After looking through government logs, he realized he was wanted and known to be on Cassiopeia Station. This sent him into a frenzy, where he snuck aboard another freighter with everything he owned - To Caelum Station.

Lima-Foxtrot-Sierra Harbinger, clear for docking at lower bay Niner. Welcome to Caelum Station, over…

    Release: October 14th, 12PM!

Caelum Station RP is a serious dystopian-sci-fi Minecraft server based within an alternate timeline from our reality. We offer a variety of plugins to aid in your roleplaying experience and enjoyment in addition to creating a space where all can find roleplay.

In the 1960’s, the Cold War between the United States and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics lead to a fundamentally different development of technology that would eventually lead to the Technological Singularity. This event, referred to since as The Singularity, meant the advent of sentient artificial intelligence on Earth, leading to a rapid production of new technologies and advancements that even the humans manufacturing them and using them didn’t understand. Soon, a portion of mankind is lost in the stars without a glimpse of the Earth-- or the artificial intelligence that created their technology-- behind them.

Caelum Station, named befittingly due to its original purpose and because of the constellation it was constructed in and launched from, is a now-defunct mining station that collected mostly helium and hydrogen in order to fuel the armada of human-lead ships that now explore space. Christened a “sucker” from its utilization of gas giants to mine, Caelum Station’s original purpose was converted from a mining station to a general residential station after correspondence from Earth-- and, thus, the mining company the station was employed by-- ceased. Caelum Station, guided by its captain and more than a thousand souls, in essence more a large ship than an orbiting station, travels aimlessly, looking for its place amongst the cosmos.

The current year is 297 A.S.

    Alternative Timeline: Technology Explained:
Technology is fundamentally different from contemporary technology simply due to the timeline divergence in the 1960’s. The transistor was never popularized, and as a result, microprocessors were never created. Most technology is bulky and industrial, relatively simple computers taking up to entire rooms. Simply put, nothing is particularly elegant.

If you’re looking for a simple explanation, think of Fallout technology in combination with a little Borderlands technology-- in space.

The United Spacefaring Federation (colloquially dubbed “The Federation” for short) is an intergalactic democratic Federation with holdings primarily in the Milky Way galaxy, originally based off of Earth and Mars. The Federation promotes democracy, liberty, and intergalactic law in addition to supplementing the space-age economy. Federation Credits are the primary source of currency for many within the stars. The Federation promotes a general peace between various factions, yet some claim rigged democracy and corruption rule out The Federation’s place to do this.

    More Info:
Much like the military style of old terran civilizations, the Federation’s rankings are as follows:

    Private ⇾ Specialist ⇾ Corporal ⇾ Sergeant ⇾ Lieutenant ⇾ Captain ⇾ Colonel ⇾ General ⇾ Commanding Fleet Admiral

Rank is denoted by bands on the soldier’s left arm. When in doubt-- the more the bands, the higher rank.

Captains can be designated into two separate categories, ones that are ship captains, and just regular captains. This can be denoted by a small blue stripe underneath the Federation symbol on their uniforms, showing that they are indeed, ship captains.

If you are applying to be a private of the Federation with your application, you can find the skin here. Please paste it over your skin and wear it.

The Junkers are a disheveled group coming from many different backgrounds under one banner. This isn’t technically an intergalactic faction or really a faction at all, just a name for the scrappers aboard the ship. It is known throughout the galaxies that many small groups of these ‘Junkers’ exist, however they are in a large quantity on the station due to the fairly easy scraping jobs the Junkers encounter.

    More Info:
Commandeering an old mining vessel decommissioned by the station, they make their living flying to shipwrecks or asteroids to mine and gather the various resources stranded out in space. This ship, the Hydra, makes mining huge asteroids very easy and profitable, thus they are able to sustain such a number of junkers.

There is no formal hierarchy among junkers, they all make a commission based on how much scrap they bring in, however, the pilot of the Hydra is often held in the highest regard out of the lot of them.

There is no official uniform that The Junkers wear, although many wear jackets adorned with pins and patches representing their allegiances.

Caelum Station Security is a group of security officers that keep Caelum Station in order with both station and Federation regulations. These security officers essentially act as the police officers of the station, in addition to managing complaints and handling immigration requests. There is a minimal hierarchy as expected with a police force-- consisting of new recruits, officers, and a chief of security.

    More Info:
Caelum Station Security officers are trained primarily in melee techniques and with riot gear, although they are also trained with basic firearms training in the case of emergencies. They are station-employed, and are a relatively small faction due to the relatively small population living in Caelum Station (1000~ persons.)

The security uniform can be found here when it’s finished.

Although the name may be related to maritime marauders, the term “Pirate” within space refers more to lightly organized crime, stretching from independent or gang-affiliated mercenary work to actually attacking and robbing other ships. Since the criminal system within space is based within the station you are near (or the faction that has prevalence within your area), many pirates go on the run between stations and areas and seek asylum after they commit crimes. However, some factions (such as the Federation) have influence over a variety of planets and stations, presenting a kind of unifying law against crime.

    More Info:

In the case of Caelum Station, most piracy efforts are deterred and recorded by the station’s security. However, because of the Federation’s presence and influence on the station, the Federation may relay information on possible suspects to the station’s security team in the interest of deterrence. Although it is worth noting that this report is not enough to incarcerate or apprehend such individuals, as much of the station’s crime system is based on crime recorded that happened on the actual station.

Due to lack of formal organization, if one were to become a pirate they could act alone, or affiliate themselves with a group. It is worth noting that any formal affiliation with gangs or organizations of pirates will be done as a result of in-game roleplay. If you are applying as a pirate, you will not be formally affiliated with any gang until your character does so in-character.

Because of the seedy nature of many pirates and criminals, members of this faction usually spend their time in clubs and dives in order to avoid official attention from the station’s security.

Pirates do not wear an official outfit or uniform, although many gangs and small groups of pirates have their own uniforms.

Please read and abide by the following rules. You will be held accountable to these.

    General

    1. The Staff has the final say.
    2. Use Common Sense.
    3. No griefing.
    4. No using racial slurs or derogatory terms outside of RP context.
    5. No spamming the chat with unnecessary things.
    6. No advertising of other servers while on our server or in our discord.
    7. Killing yourself for the purpose of resetting your hunger is not permitted.
    8. Using any type of unapproved client-side mod is not allowed.
    9. Using any type of x-ray or x-ray texture hacks is not allowed.
    10. If you find any kind of bug or exploit report it to staff immediately.
    11. You are responsible for your account and anyone that logs into it.
    12. You may not ask staff for items or ranks, apply via the forums or put in a ticket.
    13. Use an appropriate skin.
    14. No farming or killing animals if that is not your actual job or your farm/animals.
    15. Be respectful to everyone, not just staff.
    16. Rules are subject to change, so check them often.

    Roleplay

    1. You are not allowed to have a character under the age of 16.
    2. You may not have ERP in any public chat where it may be seen by unsuspecting parties.
    3. You must know the definition of Metagaming and Powergaming, and must not perform either action at any time.
      1. Meta-gaming: Using out-of-character information in-character. (I.e. Learning that Billy’s character Reed wants to kill your character Koi through your friend out-of-character. So, using that info, you avoid Reed at all costs.)
      2. Power-gaming: Power-gaming can mean many things. But the two most common meanings are, forcing actions onto other players, or making your character do stuff that they normally wouldn’t be able to do just to give yourself plot armor. (I.E. an overweight character outrunning a fit guard).
    4. One must confirm stealing/criminal RP with a staff member (moderator or higher) before continuing.
    5. Do not use short versions of statements of text speak in-character. (I.E. Lol, ;P, XD, etc)
    6. Pick a name that makes sense for the setting, don’t just make it a meme.
    7. Do not, without staff say-so, try to make a character with preset or starting abilities better than the average player. This gives you an unfair advantage and is reserved for only very trusted character or NPCs.
    8. You cannot be somewhere in-game and then once caught say that you were there out-of-character.
    9. When roleplaying make sure you check what you’re doing as you type. Paragraphs of broken English are not permitted, you need to make sense.
    10. You are not a special snowflake, remember that. While you may be unique, you are not the protagonist in this story, nobody really is.

    Crime

      1. Contact a staff member before any crime is committed.
      2. If you play a villainous character realize that there are consequences for your actions. (I.E. RP death or jail.)
      3. No rape or forced ERP unless both parties consent.
      4. Slavery is technically allowed. All rules still apply to slaves and slavers, but it is near illegal on the station to have slaves.
      5. If your character is a murderer, do not make them a rampaging psychopath, they will need reasons for killing specific players and their permission(Consent). If this is not obeyed staff will intervene.
      6. Breaking and entering and theft will be moderated with admin. Unlocked chests may have a quarter of their contents taken. (To be safe take screenshots before and after)
    • The “Glass” Clause: BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO PLAY A DIABOLIC VILLAIN (SOMETHING MORE THAN A PETTY THIEF.) YOU MUST GET PERMISSION FROM AT LEAST TWO ADMINS/MODERATORS

    Building

    1. Make sure you are an area in which you are permitted to build before you start building.
    2. Any changes you make to a pre-existing home or building must be approved before you start building.
    3. Keep all of these changes RP-appropriate. (Not only in style but also in terms of what your character can do.)
    4. Like with many other things, use common sense when it comes to building, if you need help you can ask for a paid build, and as long as there is space to do it and willing staff they will do it.
    5. Decorations are usually fine and require no admin intervention, especially in your own home.

It is the choice of the applicant whether or not they wish to apply for whitelist on the Minecraft Forums, or on the Enjin site. We have crafted our application to be as pain-free as possible, taking (hopefully) a very small amount of effort. Many of the questions listed here are able to be answered in 5 words or less.

That being said, please put thought into your character application-- it is for your own good and reference in addition to letting us know you are serious about roleplaying on the server.

Definitely not the one we had when the server shut down. A maybe earlier one I could look into getting, but I'll have to go deep in my hard drive. I'll definitely post something here if I find it, though.

(Most of our back-ups were held by the hosting service, so the world is probably gone at this point. As I said though, an outdated one might still be on my computer, so I'll look around a bit.))

Can i ask why the server died?

Some staff arguing problems. It got to the point where much more fighting than RP happened. Staff were also sort of split into two cities competing over players, which tended to be a much more OOC thing than an IC problem.

We had a good 3 and a half years, though.

Nope, feel free to do what you want. To be honest, this lore isn't the greatest, and was primarily based off of the Yogscast. But if you want to, sure.

    Here you go:

God-Modding: When you make your character unrealistic or do unrealistic things. There is a huge chance that the character will not be the best or the most powerful. The character will be most likely an average person. You can achieve these things in the RP but not in an unrealistic way.

Merciful Qin ;). An example of God-Modding would include: Logging onto the server an immediately killing every single person with the 'godly sword'. You cannot do this.

How did you find us?: I was looking for a new RP server to join and I found it this morning on this forum.

Why do you want to join?: I previously used to roleplay on a Harry Potter themed server. That server shutdown and I found Marai today - the lore has really interested me and I'd love to try something new.

What role-play experience do you have (if any?): It would be a lie to say I have a lot. I don't have much. I've only role-played on one server which was Harry Potter based - we created our own characters and lived through a Hogwarts life.

Definitions: Please give a full description of each IN YOUR OWN WORDS. You will be expected to abide by these definitions on the server. You giving these definitions is a way of showing us you understand them and agree to follow them in role-play.

Define Meta-gaming (keep in mind there are two types, OOC and IC): OOC: Using IC information towards someone OOC or targeting them OOC. EG: Player 1 is a farmer IC and Player 2 decides to make fun of him OOC because of this. IC: Using OOC information to benefit your character in a roleplay. EG: Your friend is OOC and tells you he's going to rob a shop. You are in character and you immediately tell the shop keeper - this would not be allowed.

Define Power-gaming (there are technically 2 definitions, the other is also referred to as Power-emoting): When a player does something impossible to resist against. EG: Fighting with a 'god like sword' and not allowing the user to fight back.

Define Role-playing: The art of playing a character you created for yourself or another person created for you. You live out this characters life.

Define God-modding: When a character acts godly and cannot be 'defeated'. Having a full decked out set of 'indestructible armour' would be a prime example of god-modding. It puts all users at a disadvantage.

Going on to create your character, please familiarize yourself with the lore we have lovingly crafted. Please remember to keep all lore in mind while writing your character’s history, and make sure to agree to the definitions above (no power-gaming in your bio!) Also, try to avoid clichés. (Parents died, revenge, et cetera.)

    IC:

    Name: Caynn Eldritch

    Age: 25

    Gender: Male

Race (pick one of the races we have made, no creating your own): Cromjin

Character description: (describe and analyze. Please make sure this follows the lore stated for your race. Clothing they would wear on a daily basis can be included too.) Character Description top-bottom (no clothing) Caynn has mid-length black hair which is pushed outwards with parts of his hair sticking out from the back. Caynn has blue eyes and a pointy nose which is situated just between his eyes. Strangely, Caynn has a small mouth with red rose-like lips, which is situated slightly above his chin and far below his nose (he was born like this). Caynn is not fat nor slim, he is what's known as 'medium'. Caynn is not a strong person and is rather weak and timid when it comes to approaching people. He is shy because of the fact he does not have a lot of strength on him. Caynn has big feet and big hands which allows him to grab multiple things

Caynn wears robes most of the time as he really likes the style of this outfit. Caynn wears a pair of brown or black trousers everyday with the same pair of shoes as he only cares about his upper body clothing.

Character personality: (Just talk about the character as a person for a second. What are their aspirations in life? Why do they have these? These can reference your bio. Also talk about your character and their feelings towards things, such as possible racism towards other races, hate (or love) for organizations, et cetera.)

Caynn has always wanted to be involved with law. This is because of his upbringing due to his authoritarian personality. Caynn is an obedient person who is very strict and opinionated with social classes. Although Caynn comes from a rich family, he is not 'stuck up' like most stereotypes believe. He is a down-to-earth person who really cares about what others think. He hates the idea of social classes. Caynn is a strong believer of equality and hates racism. Caynn loves to eat meat and bread when he is sad - but he mostly eats uncooked meat due to the fact that cooked meat sometimes makes him feel unwell due to his health. Caynn is a strong believer for having a leader, like an Emperor. He is a well spoken person who has received a great education from his parents and peers. He currently works as a farmer in the land of Cromjin.

Your character is sitting at a bar in a crowded inn. A bard strums his lute in the corner, while the rest of the inn drinks and sings along. Suddenly, the barkeep yells at you, claiming that you need to pay for your drink still. You have already paid in full for your drink. How do you proceed?:

Caynn (feeling very scared/shy): "I am extremely sorry, but you have been mistaken sir - If you speak to Lady Alma she will confirm that I paid for the drink I am currently drinking" Barkeep: "I will check - if you're lying then you're in deep trouble!" Barkeep (after checking): "Sorry 'bout that mate! I did not notice that you have been served, it won't happen again" Caynn (feeling relieved): "Not a problem sir! Everyone makes mistakes in their life but I am willing to pay again if needed!"

Your character sits in a tree at night, staring at the skies and thinking to yourself. You look down to the street below, and you see a woman being mugged at knifepoint in the middle of the street! What do you do?:

Caynn would look around and notice a woman was in danger. Due to the fact that Caynn is a timid and shy person, he would approach cautiously and try not to be seen. The lady will be, I assume, shouting for help. Caynn will eventually pluck up the courage to do something about it - as he loves giving himself pep talks. Caynn (scared but resilient): "Excuse me! Put her down. She has done nothing wrong" Criminal: "Not at all. You're next if you don't stop getting involved!" Caynn: "I fully understand that you may not be able to afford anything so you must resort to crime - but the long lasting effects are not worth it!" Criminal: "I see but once I've started I cannot stop" Caynn: "Please just leave her - or I will report you to the law enforcers of Cromjin!" If the criminal continues then Caynn would report it. If the criminal stops then Caynn will keep a closed mouth and ensure the woman is safe - he would escort her home.

Character biography: (Please consider the lore we have written and include it somehow. DO NOT WRITE HISTORY OTHER THAN YOUR OWN. Unless given specific permission by an admin, your character has not had a large impact in continental history. Please give more than 2 paragraphs, and put some effort into your background.) Caynn was born in a rich family full of love, prosperity and attention in the city of Cromji. Caynn was what's known as the 'black sheep' of the family, he was not cared for properly by his parents and he was always told to be strict and obedient or he will be punished in ways we will not discuss. Caynn has two brothers: Richard and Drew. Both of his brothers care for Caynn and witnessed much of the abuse from his parents. Caynn studied law and politics in his school and was taught the Cromjin religion and how they believe that each celestial body has a responsible God. After his schooling, Caynn worked as a farmer which allowed him to help the people of Cromji. Caynn has met many people on this farm and has been caught many times stealing wheat. Although Caynn has an authoritarian personality, he does get into a lot of trouble with the law on a regular basis. Caynn has been placed in prison before for 3 years for theft. Caynn enjoys going back to the prison as he has friends there who have caused a lot of problem in Cromhi. During his time in prison, Caynn learnt how to survive on his own before he met his friends, Franc and Edmund. These people are convicted thieves as well and are still in prison until 39.24.X - Caynn on a regular basis purposely commits crimes in order to see his friends in the prison. During his time in the prison he was harmed by one of the prisoners for telling them that he stole from the farm. Caynn has always been given his job back due to the fact that his boss likes him.

Hi, I'll be reviewing your app today!

    • Generally your definitions are a little short, but they're enough as you got the main point of them down.
    • You're forgetting something in your god-modding definition! Read the rules.

You'll be accepted and whitelisted when you fix the second bullet above! Thanks, everything else looks good.

How did you find us?: Browsing the Minecraft Forums Objective Servers

Why do you want to join?:

Well, name an RP server in the objectives server that wasn't released before November and I've probably been on it, and been disappointed at some point. I'm hoping for a great change, and for Mirai to bring something new and interesting while still keeping the freedom of roleplay. So in a sense, I'm joining because I've been everywhere else, and Mirai is a new face around that I have hope for.

What role-play experience do you have (if any?):

This ties into my prior response, however I have Roleplayed on MOST Minecraft servers. That time has been accumulating since about 5 months post Alpha 0.7 or somewhere very early on, where actually, a prior applicant CrazyFreak ran a server called Roleplay Revolutions. So about 3+ years of Minecraft Roleplay, plus some Half Life 2 RP scattered about. I like to this of myself as a very sophisticated roleplayer, and under the proper circumstances calm - certain situations can and will set me off if they happen however. (For example, someone who blatently metagamed being let off, or instead of being dealt with, the whole happening 'voided')

Definitions: Please give a full description of each IN YOUR OWN WORDS. You will be expected to abide by these definitions on the server. You giving these definitions is a way of showing us you understand them and agree to follow them in role-play.

Define Meta-gaming (keep in mind there are two types, OOC and IC):

OOC: The act of using IC information against someone OOC targetting them maliciously. (E.G person plays a lot of Holy Characters, and you insulted them OOCly about being religious or something)

IC: Using OOC information In Character. (Player A said OOCly they were meeting someone at spot E, Player B goes to that spot ICly)

Define Power-gaming (there are technically 2 definitions, the other is also referred to as Power-emoting):

    Power-gaming is the act of forcing your actions onto another character. It's a very subtle difference with extremely different results, for example;

Scenario 1: *Player A stabs player B in the stomach* - Power Gaming

Scenario 2: *Player A attempts to stab player B's stomach* - Not Power Gaming

Define Role-playing: Playing a role, if you look at it that way. A more in depths perspective is setting yourself into fictitious shoes (most of the time) and playing out a characters life.

Define God-modding: In most settings God-Modding is a synonym for Power-gaming, however Mirai refers to it as another term for Min-Maxing, and that is laying out everything so that your character is godly. A fine example is a Merciful Qin, I mean warrior that is a blacksmith, it tears down the barrier of acquiring gear and such, and makes it all that much easier to rise up in strength, since they can make their -own- weapons. Another way to define it is just outright bringing your character into the world with too much illegitimately acquired strength.

    IC:

    Name: Khaivornum Aeyrkaides

    Age: 23

    Gender: Male

Race (pick one of the races we have made, no creating your own): Lylur

    Character description:

The description will be given in the following format: Top to bottom without clothing, then top to bottom with clothing. Erotic descriptives are not included.

Khaivornum has mid length pale blond hair, that rises up and around his face, leaving his eyes uncovered. His ears are elongated and pierce through the veil of hair, ending in a rounded point, for lack of better words. His eyebrows aren't thick in the slightest, and consist of a series of spaces course hairs, that would leave his eyebrows generally unnoticed unless you actually looked at them, like most eyebrows. His cheekbones and jaw are fairly sleek, matching his already elegant appearance to begin with. His pupils are a pale auburn color almost extending into a faint red, but not quite. Khaivornum generally has a logical and rational stature about him, and it's reflected in his facial features, in which his mouth is generally horizontal, and not in a upwards or downwards curve at any time (aka he doesn't frown or smile often). Khaivornum carries sideburns and a blond stubble often times. His skin is a pale, pale color, but not sickly by any means, as he was raised under the veil of the forests in Lylur territory. His shoulders appear decently broad, being a base for his toned build, as any Lylur exile would likely have, living a down to earth, do it yourself lifestyle. He generally appears clean, and takes the effort to keep his toe and fingernails filed.

Khaivornum generally dresses lightly, being in the southern part of Serin the heat tends to do that effectively, and force people to dress lightly or faint from heat exhaustion as a result. Therefore, Khaivornum actually has no shirt, but carries around a straw hat with him for long days out in the sun. He wears simple cloth pants that go to his ankle, and has crocks on for simple fieldwork, however he also has simple cloth boots, which are of terrible quality, but they work better for running than crocks.

Character personality: (Just talk about the character as a person for a second. What are their aspirations in life? Why do they have these? These can reference your bio. Also talk about your character and their feelings towards things, such as possible racism towards other races, hate (or love) for organizations, et cetera.)

Khaivornum is a rational person at his most basic levels. Where most people would become irrational, Khaivornum would look at it from a logical standpoint, often times appearing cold. This isn't to say however, if there was a killer doing what killers do, he would do nothing, it's quite the opposite in truth. Khaivornum aligns most accurately to Chaotic Good, and would kill the villain, as it's the rational, and right thing to do, if they were not eliminated they would simply keep killing people. This viewpoint is born from being raised in isolation, and actually being able to think, where most city-dwellers would have a lot of other things on their mind.

Khaivornum aspires to become stronger, a very simple aspiration, but he wants to stop crime, killing, and so forth. This was created by the injustice he was provided when he was exiled at birth, since they had the option to expand their land, but refuse to, and send their young off to whatever wants them. He has strong feelings against evil, and by being any portion of evil you'll easily be hated by him, and that is why he wants to be stronger, in order to oppose that evil through any means.

Your character is sitting at a bar in a crowded inn. A bard strums his lute in the corner, while the rest of the inn drinks and sings along. Suddenly, the barkeep yells at you, claiming that you need to pay for your drink still. You have already paid in full for your drink. How do you proceed?:

Khaivornum looks at the Barkeep, "Sir, I paid for my drink, I believe you might want to talk to the bartender who served me, he can confirm I paid. I'm sorry for the confusion." He sits there silently.

The Barkeep returns soon after, "Right, I'm sorry, there was some slight confusion on our end, you're free to go."

Khaivornum waves, heading out of the tavern.

Your character sits in a tree at night, staring at the skies and thinking to yourself. You look down to the street below, and you see a woman being mugged at knifepoint in the middle of the street! What do you do?:

Khaivornum likely wouldn't be carrying around a weapon, as he's gazing at the stars, however as he noticed the commotion he would sit up, moving into a crouch and climbs down the tree, approaching the two, "I can pay you the money you want."

Criminal: "Who do you think you are?!" The criminal is clearly threatened by the fact that Khaivornum doesn't appear to be intimidated, and attempts to keep his pride by refusing to accept his money.

Khaivornum: "This counts as theft, and assault, and maybe even attempted murder, in a lot of places the sentence for that is death, now I may not be strong enough to take you on, but I can guarantee you I'm faster, more nimble, and resourceful than you, and I can report this to anyone I please."

Criminal: The criminal just kind of stands there, blinking as he rethinks what he's doing, Khaivornum chimes in to persuade him.

Khaivornum: "If you hand me your weapon, I won't say a thing about what I saw, and I'm sure -she- won't either." He looks at the woman, nodding.

The woman nods, shaking from the mugging.

Criminal: He drops his knife, sprinting off down the road. Khaivornum waits for a few moments, before picking up the knife and nodding to the woman, "You don't need to pay me back if you don't want too." He looks to the side slightly.

    | From there it can split into multiple paths, romantic/casual or something else, so I'll just stop there |

Character biography: (Please consider the lore we have written and include it somehow. DO NOT WRITE HISTORY OTHER THAN YOUR OWN. Unless given specific permission by an admin, your character has not had a large impact in continental history. Please give more than 2 paragraphs, and put some effort into your background.)

The first moments of Khaivornums life were bleak and depressing. After her mother gave birth to him, he was tended to and cared for... Then, exiled. They say it was to prevent the village from becoming too crowded, but Lylur had a tendency to be self-sufficient, living in tune with nature and so forth. It never made sense to Khaivornum, however his life was still in good hands. His parents left the village with him, and brought the most vital of belongings with them, and a few family trinkets and such.

The first few nights alone in the wilderness were the worst, Khaivornum crying in his mothers arm, hungry and more, but the two parents stuck it out, and eventually made a small cabin in the woods, which grew, and grew, to become something new. By the time Khaivornum was capable of remembering what he saw, around four, the cabin had become a small homestead, with a few animals grazing in a small pen, and a family farm, nothing large, just enough to feed the family in a field at the other side of the trees to the East of their home. Food was hunted, wood was gathered, water was collected, everything was self-sufficient, the mother even made all of their new clothes. It was a peaceful life, but always rather bleak, and depressing. On Khaivornum's tenth year, he had begun to get involved in chores, and his parents were getting older naturally, they were both in their sixties, and while sickness was cared for with the proper environment, the elderly that were alone didn't have any. However such wasn't a problem at this point in Khaivornum's life, and wouldn't be for nearly a dozen more years. As he got older and older, he began to take on more chores, first it was cleaning up the chicken coop, and the house, then he slowly took on fieldwork, and even later on, hunting. His parents slept often, and were growing weaker as he was growing stronger, having lived a harder late-life than they should've.

Khaivornum occasionally came home with wounds from predators, that he was forced to clean -mostly- by himself, his parents had begun to lose their healthy conditions, and started a decline shortly after his 22nd birthday. Truth be told he did too, but the nature of the suspect being a sickness, his body could fight it easier, and he could cope, whereas his old and frail parents were unable to fight back. As dark days came, as they do for all children, for every parent dies, and even that child will always die one day, Khaivornum's dark days also came. The weeks prior, he had been carefully tending to them, trying to feed them, keep them hydrated, and bring down their fever, but it was no use. His parents died by his side, it was nothing dramatic, if anything it was joyful, they weren't slaughtered by bandits, it was nature that swept them away, they died in peace. The next morning Khaivornum went out early, taking a spade with him and went into the rolling fields at the other side of the Eastern Treeline, and dug two graves, wrapping each of his parents in cloth and setting them down peacefully into the graves, setting flowers around their bodies, before covering them in dirt, putting stakes at the head of their graves, and writing their names. He knelt down, speaking a soft prayer, and mourning for the next few hours.

After he collected himself from sorrow, he collected his families mementos, and important belongings, before heading out. He walked and walked, memories of his parents telling him stories flowing through his mind, like when his parents told him of how they ended up alone out in the woods, and of the other great countries that were filled with prosperous people around them. He had asked why they didn't move to one of those countries, but now he understood, in order to keep their identity. In honesty, it's irrational, but the honorable, and noble thing to do. He grinned sheepishly to himself, walking as the sun rose ahead of him, to whatever journey awaits him.

    Quote from Krisatria»
    IGN: Krisatria

    How did you find us?:
Liamade; he is a good friend of mine. I recently got a new computer and he was talking about a roleplay server, so I asked him about it and I received the link of this page

Why do you want to join?:
    Because I love Roleplaying <3

What role-play experience do you have (if any?):
Mainly forums and such. I would say I have a good grip on things; though I do occasionally accidently power-game. solely by accident.

When you give out info of the rp OOC or outside the game.

Define Power-gaming (there are technically 2 definitions, the other is also referred to as Power-emoting):
When being willed into something by someone elses /me command, in this case

    Define Role-playing:
The act of playing the role of a character (Or your character) created to construct a fantasy world where anything could happen (Following such guidelines provided at times)

    Define God-modding:
The thing most dread the most when Rping. when you ignore or resist someone in such a way, For example: “Krisatria blows up with nuke by throwing it like a baseball, unfazed by the laser in the face she took.”

    IC:

    Name: Krisatria

    Age: 22

    Gender: Female

Race (pick one of the races we have made, no creating your own):
    De’asllo

Character description: (describe and analyze. Please make sure this follows the lore stated for your race. Clothing they would wear on a daily basis can be included too.)

Character personality: (Just talk about the character as a person for a second. What are their aspirations in life? Why do they have these? These can reference your bio. Also talk about your character and their feelings towards things, such as possible racism towards other races, hate (or love) for organizations, et cetera.)

Your character is sitting at a bar in a crowded inn. A bard strums his lute in the corner, while the rest of the inn drinks and sings along. Suddenly, the barkeep yells at you, claiming that you need to pay for your drink still. You have already paid in full for your drink. How do you proceed?:
Krisatria wouldn’t usually be in such a place unless creating mischief. Proceeding with the situation, she would step up to the bartender and hand him some nothing but a hard slap to the face. After a swift, hard face slap she would run as fast as possible until in a safe(er) location.

Your character sits in a tree at night, staring at the skies and thinking to yourself. You look down to the street below, and you see a woman being mugged at knifepoint in the middle of the street! What do you do?:

Certainly not be heroic, but definitely fool with the victim and criminal. she would assess the situation for anything on why the lady is being mugged (Motive or what not.). If who mugger was exacting revenge, Krisatria would help. If it was mindless mugging then she would attempt to beat down on whoever would even attempt to attack an innocent women.

Krisatria was raised in the northern De’asllo territory. She loved to climb the highest trees wondering what it would be like to venture out into the unknown. She was raised by her grandparents until constant run-ins with the law. These acts against the local law enforcers put bad reputation on her grandparents and decided to shoo her off on her own at the age of sixteen.

She decided to venture outward, following an old map of the land, down the border where the unknown land and De’asllo territory until she finds nearby towns to venture to. stealing from towns wasn’t what she thought of every time she would take an apple of pick up bread from the bakery without paying. she thought of it more as support for an orphan child in need of resources and a good laugh when the baker slips on a good ol’ water spot on the floor with the “wet Floor” sign propped against the near wall.

    In short characteristics:

        Mischievous

        “eye for an eye” judgment

        poor sense of common knowledge

        not very educated

Straight in sexual preference, but has no boundaries (Ask Liamade. I feel him up every day)

Hey Krisatria, I'll be looking over your application today.

    • Meta-gaming definition is kind of correct. Meta-gaming is either the using of information gained out-of-character in-character for an advantage in role-play, or vice versa. Revise your definition and expand on it a little more - examples, why we follow it?
    • Power-gaming again, is on the same lines, but is only kind of correct. Power-gaming is the forcing of an action upon another player. This doesn't always have to be /me, but can be used in a variety of manners, whether it's from a combat situation or just forcing an action (someone falling down a hole that they didn't fall down in RP, etc.) Revise and expand, like the above.
    • God-modding definition is correct, could use some expanding but I would accept it. However, you're missing something important. Check the rules!
    • You... didn't give a character description? Give one, please.
    • And you didn't give a character personality either (besides the characteristics, but please follow the application format.) Like above, please give one.
    • Character biography is a little short. Expand upon it, be descriptive. The bakery thing was kind of a weird ending. What's she doing now? Any fears, past experiences that shape her as a person? Scars, how she got those scars. Go in-depth, don't be a minimalist!
Because of the things above you are not accepted at this time - however, feel free to revise your application to fix the bullets listed above for a chance at being accepted. As always, you have unlimited tries to edit your application and try again. Thanks!
