There is a glitch with anvils where if you have a stack of something, shift clicking it into the anvil will put six of the item in and delete the rest.
So wait, the world it not litterally infinite? That means someone could actually mine out a Minecraft world?
It IS possible, but it would literally take ten years to accomplish, of non-stop work. Mining out a chunk takes a good 2/3 hours, so imagine mining out 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 chunks.
So in a recent snapshot, Mojang said they had fixed the problem with the exit menu not saving the map. It still isn't fixed, even in the most recent snapshot, and when I press esc then go back to the game, it stops rendering, there aren't any noises unless I punch/mine blocks, and blocks don't drop when I break them. Is this just me or are other people having this problem?

When I press ESC, my worlds don't save. I can press Save and Quit and it goes to the main menu instantly. I play on the world again, and anything that I've placed or broken is back to the initial place, but I still have the blocks in my inventory (sort of a duplication). It's getting quite annoying, and this has been a problem for me since the first few snapshots after the release of 1.2.5. They've fixed the problem of it freezing and nothing dropping, but now nothing saves. Anyone else got these problems or is it just me?
I'm still waiting for the release. I don't know why, I just don't wanna get any virus or go to jail or anything. Plus it's extremely buggy, it just took me 15 minutes to read a page of bugs. I'm really going to wait until the actual release comes out.
