posted a message on New Structure - Beacon Monument

I had an idea for a new structure the other day while I was messing around copying beacon pyramids with structure blocks. What if there was a structure with a beacon inside?

This structure would be VERY rare (think woodland mansion or ocean monument rare), spawning in jungle biomes. It would consist of a large maze made of mossy cobble, with spawners of skeletons that shoot arrows of mining fatigue at certain nodes along the way so that you must be always running and you can't break the cobblestone due to mining fatigue.

In the centre of the maze would be a mossy stone brick pyramid with a maze of random rooms, some containing phantom spawners. In the middle of the pyramid there would be a room made of water with multitudes of Drowned spawners and a conduit frame with 1 block missing. You must find a chest on the far side of the room which contains a Heart of the Sea, 8 nautilus shells, and 1 Prismarine Brick block. You must put down the Conduit you crafted, disabling the spawners with its light level, and complete the Conduit frame, attacking the rest of the Drowned. Then you can go about breaking the Obsidian wall on the far side of the room. Once you break the wall you enter the treasure room - a tiny room consisting of a Tier 1 beacon with Iron below it.

posted a message on "Animal Cruelty"

I sort of do think that sharks would be a bit inconsistent. Frankly, we have dolphins which would be rather similar to sharks. So you're basically asking for hostile dolphins. Now I know everybody will yell at me for saying this, but you don't need to ride dolphins as they give you Dolphin's Grace and let you swim alongside them.

posted a message on Rank the Minecraft Updates!

I've only been playing since 1.7, but I can rank the updates since then:

Update Aquatic (HUGE overhaul to an area of MC that needed LOTS of attention, the ocean)

Combat Update (Massive End update, plus Elytra)

Bountiful Update (Banners and Barriers mostly, plus Monuments)

    Exploration Update(WOODLAND MANSIONS)

Decoration Update(Not much to say here, terracotta I guess?)

Frostburn Update(Literally the only thing I can think of here is polar bears and igloos)

posted a message on General attitudes toward 1.13

As we all know, Update Aquatic was released for Java Edition recently. However, I'd like to know what the general consensus is about whether or not people like it. I personally think Mojang is doing a great job on their most recent updates (1.11,1.12,1.13) and are mostly doing things that make Minecraft better. Although the commands were a bit finicky at first, I really like this update. The only problem is that it takes a while for servers to update to 1.13, but that is of course expected. But I'd like to know what you think, so feel free to comment!
