I can't log on, but I'm sure you did. Are you kidding me max? It isn't fun when we sit in prison with no guards getting constantly killed by the same two or three griefers, and so finally here comes max to the rescue! Then....the server is reset and I'm no longer in the wilderness. Thanks max, thanks for showing that this server can get worse. I got out legititly, in an escape that isn't obvious, that isn't easy, and yet you say people escaping is bad.
Want to know something else? I heard you say that, if an escape route is discovered by an admin/mod, it is blocked. How are we supposed to escape? We're in an adminium prison with no build/destroy permissions except for unescapable mining areas, and we're still expected to escape. We have to wait for a "special event."
Well, obviously you haven't played this server, because get cooped up in an adminium cage isn't fun when you know there are no ways to escape.
Here're some more cool things you should work on:
Get rid of the ability for prisoners to use the door openers.
Please, more escape routes. Also, maybe you should send some guards out on patrol to find escapee hideways if you are so pissy about them leaving.
Stop wasting your time with silly trailers.
Update the prison if you have some free time. Extend it, add new things, whatever. This prison gets boring.
More RP please. When it comes night, we should be getting in our cells. As so, a guard should always be on patrol during nighttime.
Increase your maximum guards. So few guards are on at any given time.
All I know is, this server needs a ton of work. Please, please. It's a wonderful idea with great potential, but I cannot stand it everytime I play. I am either killed, locked in, ignored or horribly bored. This server needs a major update on things the COMMUNITY likes. Removing the positions of where people are like you did was just....wrong. If some admin adds an easy escape route and tons of people flee the prison, don't whine and moan like you cant do anything about it. Send guards after them. Bribe them to come back. Block the route and chase them down yourself. Just anything except reseting the server. It isn't fair for those of us who legitly escaped. We don't care if you had a bad day. Your server was not in chaos from us. It is YOUR fault for it being poorly run, YOUR fault for having no guards on, YOUR fault. Don't blame it on us.
Also, I cannot see the whitelist reason. Please post it here?

Also, the spam in this thread is awful. Seriously bepop, you weren't wrongfully banned. A fly hack was detected on your computer, thus you were banned. And as for people like fanciful, sitting in this server and trolling and whining won't do a single thing but ensure your place as a banned former member.

Reason for hire: You may not have noticed, but I do not enjoy being a prisoner. But I do enjoy roleplay. Basically, I would do everything a guard is SUPPOSED to do while still letting the prisoners have a grand but challenging time. Some guy running around killing everyone? I'll put a stop to it. Someone escaping? No teleports there, I'll just have to search for them. Is it nighttime? IN YER CELLS!
You see, I hate it when guards sit around and do nothing. Me? I come on minecraft AT LEAST once a day, and I know a ton about this game. I'll be rough with the convicts one day and a little more lenient the next, just to allow those prisoners a fair chance at escaping, but not too fair.
I know what I am doing and I am very well respected on a few other servers. I seem to have a knack at being responsible in this game, and can make a pretty mean guard RP. Plus, I love being a guard. Cooped up in a tiny cell all day doesn't fit me. I am much more useful towards the server as a guard than as a prisoner. Also, I know a few escape routes that would come in handy. I also know how frustrating it is when guards ignore/abuse you, so I would be able to save the day. :tongue.gif:
Just consider this application. I'm sure I could make the server much more enjoyable. I haven't played on it long, but I know past the basics and would just love to be a guard. Basically, its a win-win situation for everyone!
This server isn't bad itself. It's just the guards who need help. And believe me, help I shall give you. Thanks for whatever answer I get, I know it is in your best judgement.

A quick description of you: Uh, wot? I've been in a ton of minecraft servers, and I'm pretty well known in some. I know the dos and don'ts of minecraft, I know how to mine, I've learned a ton there is to learn and I can make some pretty nice structures.
(Proof you read the forum)What do gatherers, village elders, and village guards do?: Gatherers...gather materials, elders are the leaders of villages and declare war and such, and guards guard villages and patrol the walls and such.

Surprise surprise, the guards ignore me and just keep doing whatever crap they do.
Max, fix your server. It's horribly broken and not fun at all. The most a prisoner can do is walk around all day. Bring back the roleplaying. Hire kattydid and fire a bunch of other guards and replace them. Just do something.

Extreme lag.
Basically, all it is is guard abuse. The prisoners CONSTANTLY kill each other, and the guards never do anything to stop it. I dunno what your guards are doing, but the majority of them need to be relieved of duty.
If you plan on joining this server, reconsider. Terrific idea, terrible outcome.
