It's kinda not working for me. Everything works except the render distance stuff. I set it to 4 Small and it renders as if it were like at 8 Far. Is there any way I could fix this? I'm running Optifine 1.7.2 HD U C2.
I hope this is the right place to post this:I am experiencing a minor graphical glitch with Optifine, specifically relating to the underside of the surface of the water. It doesn't render. This means that you can't tell how close to the surface you are when you are under water, and may drown if you are further than you thought.Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
I get why people put I to the inventory, like because it starts with the same letter...but it's not really convenient. To open the inventory with the I key, I would either have to let go of the arrow keys with my left hand, or completely let go of the mouse with the right hand. In many situations, this could be dangerous.
I usually carry around a lot of items and need to switch them to the hotbar in under 1 or 2 seconds. Having E for the inventory let's me access it without moving my hand, and then I can click the numbers at the top to switch items in. This is really not possible with the I key. But hey, to each their own.
actually i play with I key because before that was the default inventory key (i think in beta 1.3 notch changed the key to E) so i find it easy
Yeah, a lot of people don't seem to notice though. I have set ctr as my sprint key (which is vanilla default), and set optifine zoom to be the F key. The F key is relatively easy to reach, but the control key is much easier. Which is my order of priority.
