It looks superb so far, as little as there may be to show for atm.
I also really want to know how you do stone like that...?
Could you do a tutorial on how you do stone like that?

I'd really love to see this finished, it's great work.
What are the plans for it?

Lulz. I just searched up my very first texture pack for kicks.
I surprisingly found it! I BEG of you not to bump it (it was a simple pack), but I found it here if anyone is curious what my very first pack looked like.
Like I said, Please do not bump it!
I can say I have been a Minecraft texture pack creator since July 2011! But I still have yet to get the skills most of you have...

Well, I don't think that Dokucraft's stone looks good as dirt, but the rest is alright. Make sure you credit Doku though.
(Also, since when am I considered to be "well known"? )
Edit: Also, I just remembered, I had a pack called Black Light over a year ago. I wouldn't use the name though, it makes it sound like an inverted default.

this TP looks very nice
I like your dirt, sand, stone, wood, nether, ... but the snow looks strange: the round clusters look like snowballs, so the snow looks like a carpet of snowballs. and like someone already mentioned: the ironparts of woodendoors.

From my learnings.
Actually, my mom has an interest in gemology; and like most nerds, enjoys droning on about it endlessly. (I'm the same way about certain things. Guess it runs in the family) This is also how I know that diamonds can be virtually any color. Literally, there's no "wrong" color for diamonds to be... including the classic Minecraft blue.
