I give you a simple explanation.

Pwnguin posted a message on PunishmentIfnits their first strike, I jail them...but they get to keep all their stuff and the only way out is though a very challenging parkour course. If they fall in lava they die and lose their stuff. The second and third strike is a kick, the 4th though 6th strikes are temp bans, and the final, 7th strike is a permaban, courtesy of the ban hammer.Posted in: Discussion -

Sacheverell posted a message on 1.9 Updates: Old Score Gone, Experience Possible Substitute
Notch recently noted a possible end to the currently-frozen scoring system: experience orbs may begin counting towards a score total in the near future! The recent screenshot also reveals another likely addition, in the form of Hardcore Mode - death means world deletion. At the moment, Minecraft only offers item loss as a potential deterrent from death; the inclusion of an optional Hardcore Mode would certainly provide a new sense of danger and accomplishment to an already excellent game! - To post a comment, please login.

Oh but there is! Hackers, who should just be perma'd immediately in my opinion before they cause harm, aside, tempbans could easily be replaced by prison time or time wandering the world in adventure mode, vulnerable to attack (or simply being buried) by other players. My friend keeps telling me we should have an arena they must finish challenges in in order to return to the world unbanned. This brings me to another idea that makes me need to ask a question to you guys:
Any of you guys know of a plugin that can set certain players to hardcore and not the entire world? It'd be an interesting way to give players who violently bend rules and disrespect others "trials".

ARTHRITIS - NON-PVP SMP
Arthritis is a generic open-world non-pvp survival server. Must I say more? Okay, I guess I can add some more detail.
The rules are viewable with the /rules command.
The admins here are S1mpleComlex1ty, Xandor22, DarthPowercord, and me.
We have CraftBukkit and a variety of plugins that (hopefully) will not effect you too much.
Look, pal, the server is new. We don't have much to say about it. Stop reading and join!

I'm fairly sure flip-turning someone's life upside-down is against rules in many servers.
I'm no griefer, but I'd say something funny and creative can actually be pretty hilarious to all involved. Just pouring lava on something is pretty unoriginal and moronic, and will get you banned. You SHOULD be trying to look for a method that will temporarily p**s off the victim and make the admins/onlookers just laugh. Something like filling their house with sheep or turning every block the house is made of into stone as if it were turned into a statue!

Sounds correct. I'm staying with hunger and sprint bars. Of course the food bars COULD just symbolize how much more food you must eat before achieving the orgasm of the century.

I really hope NPC villages are entirely optional in 1.8. This mod is so perfect, I MUST HAVE IT! Anyone else here waiting for modding support to permanently add this to their Minecraft?
