Did you follow Zombe's instructions fully? There are some things that you don't have to do with normal mods, and to activate the Minecart control mod you have to remove the hash mark from the minecart control mod. Also make sure that you're using the matching mod version for your Minecraft version, he's updated to _01.

I did it in my friends server but it didn't work. We problably made it too short. Then I googled for #On a Rail Achievement Minecraft" and found this. Thanks bro :biggrin.gif:

    You're welcome. :smile.gif:

Oh and for all others complaining/thinking you're degrading me: I made this for people who wanted to get the achievement without having to lay out all of the rail themselves, stop complaining.

I think just getting the achievement on your own is easier then download and installing all that stuff.

Actually I'd put doing this at an ETA of 5 minutes or less, depending on your modding experience and such. If you know how to install saves and mods, it's a whole lot easier.

Well, I did say that I did this for those who are too lazy to do it themselves. ;p

    And glad I could help.

Well, of all of the achievements, this was the hardest of them by far.
For those of you who want to 100% Minecraft, yet don't have the time or patience to lay out the rail and such, here's your chance!

    Instructions:

    1. Install this map. (Thanks to busterboy98 for his FlatGrass map, which this is based on!)

    2. Install Zombe's Modpack and activate the minecart control mod.

    3. Load up Minecraft.

    4. Load up the map.

    5. Hop in the cart.

    6. Hold your W key until you finish the entire track (this takes a couple of minutes, go fetch yourself a snack).

    7. Brag to your friends about your 100% Minecraft Achievement status!

    Quote from AnikoKinoshi »
It's actually not broken, you are just not in the right usergroup, you can fix it yourself.

Step 1: Click [User Control Panel] under the board index link
    Step 2: Click [Usergroups] tab
    Step 3: Select [Searcher]
Step 4: Scroll to the bottom and submit
Step 5: Enjoy searching the Minecraft forums :smile.gif:

I love you. Straight up homo.

Very nice for a 16x, although a 32x would be even better. :wink.gif: Hint.

Wolves do feel a bit foreign to minecraft, they really take the fighting to a new level, whether that's good or bad is still to be determined. And I know people are all like "Oh Beta is awesome with all of this stuff added", but I still think that Alpha is what I think of as minecraft, the gameplay was simple, yet entertaining. Of all of the updates, the one I hate the most is the biome update, I loved the colour of the old grass, as well as getting a snow-covered world.

I started playing back in infdev/alpha days, they were good times. Not to be offensive to the community, but it was a lot better back in the infdev/alpha days, there was less complaining and such, and Notch seemed to pay a lot more attention to it. The one major thing I miss are the Friday updates, there was always something new to test out, whether it was compasses or lava in furnaces, they all added something interesting- and while wolves and such are cool- I'd rather have weekly updates than monthly ones.

You, sir- are a genius. The clock should go crazy before a lightning storm, just as it does in the nether.

Awww. I like the old glitch boosters. So safe, reliable, and they required many redstone innovations to make them perfect. The good old days....

I like the feel of the original mechanics of the game, I still refuse to use the new redstone repeater.

Personally I think a bed is essential.

    Double-width bed, done.

I'm not sure if anything like this has been posted about before, I did a quick google search, but what things do you think are essential to a cabin? I'm talking log-cabin style, deep in the heart of the woods.

So far I have a fireplace and some paintings, along with a couch. Any ideas would be appreciated. :smile.gif:
