In the above circumstance, is it possible for the Creeper to land on the wall? How far can a mob jump or maneuver when jumping from a high ledge?

How easy was your password to guess? 12345 and "password" are not good passwords.....

But yes, we do need better customer service.

This is why you have to have the materials before you can build it in SSP. Checklist in Inventory.

    WhitePlane Mod Assist

It is a feature to help modders. This will be hard to explain, but I will do my best.

A new mode like Classic, when you select this feature, you are taken to a completely white room with slightly opaque floors. You have access to all the different block types, and can build anything in this white room within the limits of the regular Worlds (layers 1-132). This will allow you to build mob grinders, water elevators, TNT cannons, anything you can imagine. It will then save your design. This design can be used on your World map to place the object the same as you had built in in the white room, even going below the ground if you built part of it below the opaque floor(anything below would be lost, and a message would warn of this when you try to deploy a design, and it would say how many layers down would be "deleted").

Designs can be shared by people to showcase their creations.

The purpose of this is that many of us have a "home" World we love to use, and some of the creations others have shown off are too hard or time consuming to replicate ourselves, but nevertheless we would like to use. Being able to just drop it in our world would be nice. We would still need to obtain the materials before we could deploy it, and a checklist would be available from the Inventory menu to show you what you need to gather for each design. Balance is still needed!

Anyone like this idea? It's a rough concept, so any suggestions would be appreciated!

posted a message on Circle Chart Expansion: Redux
I am trying to build a suspended house/city over a large pit, but I am having trouble getting circles to work. I know about this chart: http://i50.tinypic.com/2lj71c7.png

But it was too small. I then found this thread: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=23637
    and this circle: http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y246/o ... _match.png

It's the perfect size, but I need a 51x51 diameter circle centered inside it, and MSPaint doesn't make circles the same as this circle. (I know about using Shift to get perfect circles at odd dimensions, but a 101x101 fro MSPaint is not the same as this picture.)

Can someone help me graph it out? I would be eternally grateful, and I'm sure other people could benefit from this.

    Thank you!

I had a similar incident. It might have been because of the server problems the site had yesterday. Anyone wish to elaborate?

posted a message on Running Minecraft with a Laptop
I am buying my first Laptop and my second computer. I am currently using a 2004 HP Desktop bought for $400. Suffice to say, it won't run Minecraft. I am now enrolled in college, and thus I get a discount from Dell for being in college. I have seen this computer and think it would run Minecraft well at full capacity:

    $1,142.99(After Discount: $891.79)
    Inspiron 17R
    Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64bit
    6GB DDR3 Shared Dual Channel Memory + 640GB 5400RPM HDD
    1G ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD5470
    New 2010 Intel® Core™ i5-460M (2.53Ghz / up to SC 2.8GHz / 3M)

This is not just for Minecraft, I also needed it for homework and other tasks. I didn't want to spend any more than this, either. This will run it well, correct? Also, I do not play to build a computer. I do not have the time to do so.

    :tnt:
Hm. OK. Well, I now know I need to build a blast wall around my "house" to absorb any possible detonations to keep my "house" safe. I was expecting this as a possible outcome. I will now eventually have a labyrinth around my house then! How hard is it to obtain Obsidian? I know it has something to do with Lava and flowing Water. Too bad Diamond is so hard to find. I know it's necessary to mine Obsidian with a Diamond Pickaxe without creating a "mold" to pour Lava in and make my own Obsidian.

Can any Lava be turned into Obsidian?

posted a message on Creeper Proof or Resistant Blocks
Hello fellow Crafters! I am new to the game, but have read a lot about it, and have a small hovel started. Before I begin to build my dream "house", I was wondering if anyone can tell me if my assumptions are correct.
    :SSSS:
A Creeper has an explosive power of 3, so any building block on this list above 3 should be safe from one Creeper. So, while Obsidian is the best against multiple Creepers, Brick Blocks, Cobblestone Blocks, etc. will work for up to 10 Creepers at once.

Again, I'm new, so I will understand if my assumptions are wrong. Thank you for any help!
