Edit: I managed to locate a tutorial on how to install drivers on Windows 8.1, and it managed to work on 10. I don't know if it'll work for you, but you can try it anyways.
Note: This tutorial is unavailable in some countries, so you need to use Hola to get through.
Ah, yes. There's a new preview of Windows 10 available, and everybody (well, not EVERYbody) wants to get their hands on it. Unfortunately, there isn't any drivers available on launch date (like they'll do it that fast) Has anybody gotten drivers that worked for Windows 8(.1) to work on Windows 10?
Forge Mod Loader / Risugami's ModLoader is not out for 1.6.1 yet, so the creators might need to re-code their mod loaders for 1.6.1. Please be patient.
Okay, cestislife, I got onto a forum today, and I downloaded some drivers. I don't need any help at all right now, as I can play now. Here's a screenshot:
Using compatibility mode does nothing. I did not mean Minecraft's performance, but rather the operating system as a whole. The fact that you have Microsoft Drivers installed is the problem right there, and it means it is not up to date.
The DxDiag log told me which card you had, and it is from there where I saw you had Microsoft drivers, which, I'd like to say again is the one causing the issue.
You only have 2GB of RAM? That is not advisable for a 64-bit system, a minimum of 4GB is recommended. Please note that you have an integrated graphics card, so you cannot expect high performance for the game or any other games for that matter.
Anyways, the error occurs because you have Microsoft drivers installed. Which do not support OpenGL which is required by the game to run.
I tried this, the driver installer never worked due to bare requirements, my driver was apparently up to date, Minecraft actually runs fine with my amount of memory, I even used compatibility mode.
I did pretty much everything you told me to do.
I have a Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family card, if this info helps you at all.
I've had a problem with playing some Minecraft on Windows 8 Pro x64. If you can help with the problem, here's the crash report so you can find what's going on.
Note- The game only thinks that my computer has a 32 bit processor. Ignore that error.
Bad video card drivers! -----------------------
Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode. This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

The server is pretty amazing so far, but I would appreciate it if you added the LWC plugin, and the option to sell saplings at the woodcutting kingdom, since you get so much.

Nice server, pretty lonely though.

My guess as to why this is happening is because there's still some 8.1 stuff in Windows 10.

Okay, I've tried everything, downloaded updates from Toshiba support, went to Intel's download center, used your links, I still have the error.
Note- I haven't been online because of the above... I also have a Celeron processor.

I fixed the problems. I also uploaded my DxDiag log. You can check it now.

I was using client side mods that only added blocks and items. (not using Nodus, if that was a client side mod to you...)
