I found it here ---> http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/606524-minecraft/answers?qid=259416
Anyways, the answer to this error is (assuming you don't want to go to the link)
1. go to control panel
2. click dispaly and click settings
3. click advanced and a window should pop up there will be a dragger, drag it to the third one from the left and press ok.
4.play minecraft! (note: you will probably have to switch it back to full to play other advanced games.)
to EmmanuelPSP2 for posting this solution! :smile.gif:
Now me and my bro can play on our server!! :laugh.gif:

This is the minecraft diagnostics.
Bad video card drivers!
-----------------------
Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.
This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

The weird thing is, it started doing this a couple nights ago, when it worked before. Iv'e updated the drivers from Dell, so i dont know. I have a Dell Latitude D630.
Update: I have the 945 Dell chipset, and I have an external monitor, which I plugged in, and started minecraft, and it runs fine! But, i take it off, and vualla, i have the same problem! I know it has something to do with the external being set as default monitor, though every thing else runs fine without the external. I'm sorta lost here, so if any body has a solution, please help! Diamonds in advance! :smile.gif:

How do you change the amount of ram Javascript uses?
I'm pretty sure optifine only works for 1.8.1 and down. Maybe they made a new one.
