Not enough items wont work. I have Minecraft forge (latest version), I also have the chicken code core thing in my coremods folder, as well as not enough items in my mods folder. When playing minecraft I will open my inventory and press "O" and nothing happens. No interface or anything. I would greatly appreciate any help.

Nope, it works in every direction except up. In my opinion they should just add pipes themselves because a line of hoppers looks so ugly and if they perform the same function as a pipe why not just add pipe purely for aesthetics? I dunno, that's just my opinion
Yes, buildcraft mod styled (but simpler) vanilla pipes would be nice. You could also power them to make items go through them faster and be able to go up. the power would go through them for a ways like powered rails. Or maybe you would have normal pipes and powered pipes? They could do that many ways.
I just noticed, hoppers are the perfect kitchen-sink It's like one of those american sinks, which you throw your trash into and it cuts it to pieces and then goes down the drain
I completely support this idea, it would also fit perfectly in the Redstone Update.
And just think what redstone masters like Hypixel, FVDisco and Sethbling could do with these!
No support, I want red dragons that can fly, you can fight/tame, perhaps ride, and of course just being epic.
Anyway it's pretty much too late for much of any suggestions to make it into 1.5 imo.
I honestly don't know why they haven't implemented this, it seems simple. Also, having the items in the crafting table appear on it would be great. Support, indeed!
It's pretty hard to argue that it isn't cheating, I don't want to see people using this on servers, but I'm sure it will be fixed before the update, so no problem. I'm fine with people using it on single player, SP is where you can do whatever you want, it's easy enough that people who want such things will just install TMI or NEI mod and have infinite items.
I personally don't care if people cheat in their own games. Unless it's on a server, I believe people should play however they want. Why not?
But anyways, I have no idea what a hopper block is or how you duplicate them. But if there's a glitch to dupe them, then yes, it does sounds like cheating. Taking advantage of any glitch should be considered cheating, lol.
It's in the next update, the glitch is that if you put an item on the edge it will fill the hopper forever.
Playing that way changes what the challenge is. Instead of being in fighting monsters, it turns into a race to get stuff done before nightfall, punctuated by running off to your bed to avoid them. Which for me is a gigantic pain in the neck , especially during big projects.It also doesn't do a lick for you when you're underground.
I think it would be better to perhaps have a wither enchanted book be rarely found in Nether fortresses, but regardless of how it were implemented it would be nice.
