Slightly off topic but you could have built a custom super rig with about 1/3 or less of what you spent on that machine.

well considering it is a orgin genesis thatmy friend had "misplaced" for me, and so epicly charged me half a grand the a computer that he said it worth about 7k, but anyways, it was still an old janurary model and so i had to make some EXTENSIVE purchases upgrading the gfx card even though it was already top NOTCH to begin with xD see what i did there
My computer is like 600ish AUD can't play BF3 (Didn't thik that was out yet) and it's managing fine. Only problems I have are the random "out of memory" errors.

besides that, its called optimization/1.6 is buggy as ****. Try updating your drivers. YOu may think "oh they are super-up-to-date," but really just check and see. I had a problem like this too with another game. One update and my fps dropped to 20, so I updated and boom, 70+.

Well when 1.6 finally came out, like most people i jizzed all over my house having a nerd-gasm. But when i had finally stopped updating at 1.6.5 i started my save and major epic lag all over my world. I used to play on fancy with fog and everything on far with a 256x256 texture pack and got about a 77 fps, but when i had updated i was forced to change my settings to a $100 dollar computer setting's, now i have a good computer it cost almost 4 grand, i had bought it for the upcoming battlefield 3, everything is the best at the moment since march of this year. My computer is 100% updated with win 7 ultimate, now tell me how come my epic computer can run crysis 2 on max settings amazingly but with the new minecraft it run's as a $100 computer, so this is making it 100% unplayable for playing with a 3 fps on fast setting's and no other programs running with no computer infection's. Notch for once in my minecraft year's since alpha 0.24 i am dissapoint.
tl;dr herp derp version: minecraft is unplayable with the lag i am experiencing. For now im on OMGPOP playing some epic draw my thing :biggrin.gif:
