    posted a message on Spider Man for PS4 Thread (Spoiler Warning)

    I enjoyed it at first but I have several issues with the game:


    1) the main storyline feels a little rushed to me....towards the end of the story it kinda just seems like the developers didn't put as much thought or effort into the game in an effort to reach the conclusion faster (and yeah, the final boss fight is somewhat lacking)


    2) the stupid Screwball challenges.....theyre ridiculously difficult and nearly impossible to complete, and as if that weren't bad enough, the game mocks you and makes you feel like trash for not getting a perfect score on them


    3) the enemies are all OP as **** I mean, you play as spiderman, a superhero who's supposed to have superhuman strength, speed, and reflexes yet most of the time I felt completely and utterly helpless against many of the baddies in the game....in the game, Spiderman can supposedly lift 10 tons, yet somehow some of the enemies in the game can take dozens of punches/kicks and barely seem to notice. I'm sure Peter Parker aka Spiderman doesn't hit with his full strength (because he doesn't want to kill anyone) and some of them wear armor, but it's still ridiculous to think they could take that many hits...I mean I don't care what kind of armor you're wearing, there's no way any ordinary human would be able to withstand the force from someone whose strong enough lift a building and certainly not that many times....and don't even get me started on so called "dodging". Nearly every time I tried to dodge an attack, the enemies would simply adjust their attack or change direction and I'd end up getting hit anyway, and as if all that nonsense wasn't enough to torment and humiliate players, the jerks at Insomniac Games had to go and add even more powerful enemies with the DLC's.


    The so called Spiderman game for the PS4 made me so mad that I broke a controller and threw the game away....I had a few fun times with the game but ultimately it's just too difficult and infuriating to be worth playing and I hope I never see that piece of garbage again

    Have you tried Toroquest and/or Millenaire? They both have quest systems but you can also trade with the villagers

    its a shame this mod is stuck in 1.7.10...if Fisk would just update it to newer versions of MC this mod could probably even rival the superhero mods and add-ons made by Lucraft. until such time as that happens, though, this mod is pretty much dead to me, and ill stick with Heroes Expansion, Speedster Heroes, etc.

    In the config file for Minecraft, click on the one for vampirism, then inside that folder, click the one titled "balance" and open the file labled general.cfg...at the bottom there's a section to change the density of Hunter camps and vampire forests

    I loved the 1.7.10 version, and was excited that it was for 1.12, but then I played it and realized it has little to no configuration, conflicts heavily with shaders, and was not nearly as much fun as the 1.7.10 version.


    I've been using the 1.12 version and I'm not having x-ray glitches of any kind...it must be an issue with either your computer itself or another mod you're using. and one of the skills you can train as a werewolf does allow you to hold and use items

    This has a lot of "Vampyr" written all over it. Coincidence?
    Well, no matter if it it. Why? It goes quite a lot against the style of the mod.


    Plus, have you ever even thought about what it means to create a mod?! Something majour as the multiblock structure is basically set in stone. Removing that and making something else would be more work than you can even imagine.

    You have no idea how insulting that suggestion was!


    what is "Vampyr"? all I know is that in traditional legend and folklore vampires are mythical creatures that feed off blood to get more powerful, and in my my mind it just doesn't make sense to make players do weird tedious rituals to get stronger when they should really only need blood

    this mod has potential but being a vampire (in my opinion) is so very lackluster its not worth being a vampire, however, I do have some suggestions i think will help:


    1) its pretty annoying having to build multi block structures to level up. consider adding a sort of "vampire xp" system. perhaps make it so that every time a vampire bites/kills/sucks blood from something, they gain xp towards leveling up, and every time they gain a level, they gain ability points that they can spend to unlock abilities (or maybe just a vanilla-like system where abilities cost a certain amount of xp and players just spend levels unlocking abilities)

    2) make some of the abilities upgradeable. for instance: regeneration. make it so that it starts as basic regen 1 and uses a lot of blood, but it can be upgraded to be more effective (regen 2,3,etc) use less blood, and increase duration. vampires should also be able to obtain both speed and jump boost (I think), so perhaps make an upgradeable "agility" perk that increases player speed and jump height. oh, and give vampires strength...again, perhaps make it an upgradeable perk. vampires could start with strength 1 (or no strength) and they have to upgrade it to do more damage with their hands

    3) consider making the dark blood projectile (or whatever its called, I can't remember) an upgradeable attack. you could make it so that it starts where it is now (or lower), and players can upgrade it so that it does more damage, but costs more blood to use

    4)this isn't so much a suggestion but a question...are you going to reimplement the vampire castle/ Dracula? this mod is kind of boring without anything to really test your strength as a vampire

    seems interesting and I'm definitely getting hyped, but I have a few questions/ suggestions

    1) theres already a mod for 1.12.2 that just adds weeping angels...perhaps instead of including them in this new Tardis mod, maybe you could just make sure its compatible with this mod: https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/weeping-angels-mod?gameCategorySlug=mc-mods&projectID=291249


    2) instead of adding a bunch of different sonic screwdrivers, just add one that can have its texture changed


    3) might you consider adding a "flight" mode similar to how you can just fly the Tardis in the dalek mod? it would fun and really great to have if you only need to travel a short distance....it was always annoying (for me anyway) that the original Tardis mod didn't have a flight mode (it could only go by coordinates) so if you didn't need to go very far, it was time consuming to put in the coordinates, wait for the Tardis to takeoff, get there, then land

    maybe they do maybe they don't......thats not my problem. all I know is that I like mods, and I can safely download mods from there without getting viruses or anything. if you don't like 9minecraft then don't use it, but don't tell others what to do just because you disagree with them

    true, but I use 9minecraft often and I trust it. I use this website (minecraft forum), 9minecraft, and curse forge mainly, but I also trust planet minecraft, though planet minecraft doesn't have as much content.

    the version of forge you're trying to use is for minecraft 1.10.....go to minecraftforge.net and download/install forge for mc 1.7.10

    i do use forge brah..im not a noob that doesn't know how to mod. I've been using mods pretty much ever since i got MC in either 2013 or 2014 (can't remember which) its just up until now I've never really had any real problems. sure i sometimes got crashes but usually it was due to mod incompatibilities and simple stuff like that. but now that my MC is running off a very old version of java, i can't really do much other than play vanilla MC 1.11 and below (but vanilla MC is somewhat boring (in my opinion) and i would like to use mods, which i can't right now because i cannot figure out how make my MC run a new version of java
