    Install ControlPack along side Forge without modifying any jar files

    Step 1:

    Install Minecraft, open it up, login, and click play to load it once, when you get to the menu screen close it.

    Step 2:

    Get the current Forge installer for minecraft 1.6.2 and run it with java

    Step 3:

    Run minecraft launcher, select forge profile, and open the game once, when you get to the menu screen close it.

    Step 4:

    Navigate to your minecraft folder

    ~/.minecraft on linux

    on windows open %appdata% from your search bar, click roaming, and then enter .minecraft

    Step 5: create the following subdirectory structure in your minecraft folder

    libraries/net/controlpack/controlpack/5.10

    Step 6: rename the control pack zip file to controlpack-5.10.jar and place it in libraries/net/controlpack/controlpack/5.10

    Step 7:
    go to your forge folder in your minecraft folders versions subdir ( it's the one with forge in the name ) and open the .json file in a text editor

    Find the line "libraries":[

    the next 4 lines should be for loading forge and looks something like this:

    	 {
    "name": "net.minecraftforge:minecraftforge:9.10.0.789",
    "url": "http://files.minecraftforge.net/maven/"
    },

    add the following just after the forge section:

    {
    "name": "net.controlpack:controlpack:5.10",
    "serverreq": false
    },

    you're json should now look something like this

    save the file

    next open the minecraft launcher, and select your forge profile. click the edit button instead of play, add the following jvm parameter

    -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true

    save it, and launch the game, and everything should just work

    Thanks go out to ntzrmtthihu777 for helping me put this together, and also to infinitiesloop for making this awesome mod!!!

    This does not work. I followed it to a tee and got this in my launcher.

    When you play Minecraft press F11, that will make the game full screen. You can render in 1080p if you have a good enough upload speed because the file will be bigger than usual.

    posted a message on Logging in with username & old password when migrated - fixed!
    Quote from Volxleet

    Sooo...

    I migrated in march. Until some days ago I was still able to login with my account name. Now I can't log in at all. I get all sorts of "user does not exist", "email does not exist" and "wrong password" errors. I read the 'help' page but I can't contact support because I don't know the transaction ID (Someone bought the game for me). Attempts to reset my Mojang password were met with "The file public/resetpassword does not exist".

    Great.

    I have full access to the email associated with the Mojang account, I know the right password, I know my account name.

    Will someone please give me my account back?

    Same problem with me but I never migrated in the first place. I'm really pissed because I just want to play Minecraft, and I can't even play on hacked accounts because they fixed that.

    Try cave spiders. They track players, and can fit in a 1x1x1 block area.

    You probably saved it wrong. There's a lot of different variables when saving, if you're making your own in PS, or lolpaint, you need to start out with the original skin from Minecraft.net, and once you're done hit save, and use that one.

    We believe there's a bug with their new system that has made a lot of accounts stop working. Check the first sticky though because this might not be why your account is pooping out on you.

    Quote from MiniMinerMan

    I cannot log in to my Minecraft account on the site or in the client! I can log into my Mojang account on https://account.mojang.com/ However. But I cannot do anything else. I all wish to do is play Minecraft! but it comes up with "Login failed" Every time I try to use my e-mail and password in the client and on the site it says that my email or password is incorrect!

    I have the same exact problem except I can't login to anything. It's like my password was changed, because due to cache I'm still on Minecraft.net, when I try to change my password it tells me my original password doesn't work anymore. When I try to get a password reset email sent, I don't receive an email, even though on Minecraft.net it shows that my email is still the same. I know my account wasn't cracked or anything because I had a secure password. Marc, please fix this there are a lot of others with the same problem.

    I get the same stuff. Let me guess, you can't login either. Mojang really screwed up, and it needs to be fixed.
