Ive given 6 of the 8 gig on my pc to java. and still it runs out of mem. i have every sound turned off. all the settins are to the lowerst setting or fastest.

Yes i rebooted my system.

yes I uninstalled java, rebooted, install, rebooted.

This is one of the reasons i get so ticked off...
I shut my beastnode server down.
I got to http://www.minecraft.net/download and get the server.jar
restart the server.
"outdated server."
""It means that, well.. your server is outdated! You'll have to go to http://www.minecraft.net/download.jsp and download minecraft_server.exe or minecraft_server.jar and replace your existing one!""
I grow irriated over this. My users (not many in the first place) keep leaving because it takes for ever to get the server up again.
there HAS to be a better way.
So i download permissions, edit it, send it through the YAML thing, turn on the server and it doesn't work.
So i type /Plugins, and the server tells me it only sees iconomy and towny im clue-less

1. what permissions are you using? I have bukkit and group manager and the yml parser does not work wth GM. unless you use the call command like a old batch file. if you wish. send me a emial to [email protected] I will send you a ventrillo server and make an appointment to talk you then. posting is not a usefull method.
I have a server i pay for. and can not find the minecraft.jar 1.0 to upload to it. I got the patch and I am running 1.0 but my server is not. i need a link tot he dl.
or where do i get the .jar?
not trying to steal anything. i want to play on my server that i pay for. with the game i paid for.
