    Or do what I did and make 2 bat files one to move millenaire and one to put it back.

    Also for the people getting the framerate drop I was getting it too, I realized it was because villages sometimes spawn close to water and a building would end up getting water around it, when the npc got stuck because of the current It would drop to 1fps.

    I've dealt with this as well. You don't actually have to uninstall it-- just switch your .jar file back to normal, and keep all of the other files in place. You won't run into any issues.

    There are a lot of mods that will crash you in SMP if you don't disable them.


    Guess ill just make a bat file to swap them quickly when I want to play smp.

    Pressing V while in smp (in chat when typing for example)

    Minecraft will freeze then close itself.

    Kinda disappointing to have to uninstall it every time I want to play online, could you make the key re-mappable?

    Could you add a version number to the mod?

    I realized today after starting with a fresh jar about to install my usual mods (Pistons being one) that my downloads folder was full of "Pistons.zip, Pistons(1).zip, Pistons(3).zip" - And so on, so I'm never sure if I have the latest :sad.gif:

    To isolate individual block textures with photoshop make a selection around the block in question and copy it, create a new document (The size will fill in automatically based on clipboard) and paste it in, then delete the "background" layer and File > Save for web and devices (Select png-24 from dropdown menu on the top right.)

    If your using another editor I'm not sure.

    I haven't tested it myself, but yes, I suspect it is (and I believe other posters here have tried it).

    The pistons mod uses block IDs 100 & 101, while this mod uses block IDs 222 and above. Unless he modifies any of the same base class files I do (unlikely), there shouldn't be any problems.

    I am currently using both BTW and the Pistons mod, so I can confirm that they work together without problem.


    Same here + zombes modpack, Millenaire, Flans Plane mod, toomanitems.

    And all the above's prerequisites.

    Ah thats too bad that you removed cart boosting functionality, although booster tracks will accelerate a cart it does nothing if its not moving which made piston boosters ideal for starting carts.

    Also what exactly was the bug you re-added?

    I only used pistons from 1.4_1 - 1.5_1

    Made a nifty gravel/sand cannon with pistons and this mod:



    (Minecart is used to time the pistons, block dispensers are basically retaining pins)

    Yes its near useless but it can also fire tnt.

    I also made a lighthouse:



    The minecart is going in circles activating and deactivating (With the help of the pressure block and booster block) inverted redstone torches stacked vertically from the bottom up to make a turning light effect (which you can't see in the image.)

    TL;DR:
    I love the mod and use the various blocks throughout my constructions/contraptions frequently.
