If you're looking for a place to make some new friends and spend TONS of time on, then you've come to the right place! Here at The Vanilla Life, we strive to bring you a unique vanilla experience! We take the vanilla gameplay you're all interested in and spice it up with some vanilla friendly features! We have mini events hosted all the time throughout the week. We also host larger scale weekly/bi-weekly events; This includes things like UHC/Walls/Survival games/Etc. Our staff is the most interactive group of players that take the time to know you individually and genuinely care about you. We have a teamspeak where a lot of our members like to get on and chat as well as an active website where you can see what's going on. The highlight of this server has most definitely got to be the community. You can be rest assured that the server will be around for a long time yet, we've been hosting vanilla servers for over three years and have no intentions of slowing down. There's so much more I want to include here, but I need to get on to the features we have on this server!

Visual McMMO: There are no McMMO perks. We're just using the plugin to display a leaderboard for different skills. This will allow the server to have a slightly competetive side while at the same time remaining friendly. We're hoping to have a monthly high scores that will be displayed on the website! You can toggle seeing the level up messages by typing ____.
Mining Statistics: A cool custom plugin that will allow you to check out how much stone/ores/wood you've collected. You're also able to check other people's statistics with it. See who can get the most diamonds of your friends. This is a plugin we really want to update in the future, so feel free to leave suggestions & feedback about it!
Playtime: A very simple plugin that allows you to keep track of how long you and your friends have been playing on the server! Who knows, you might even get some rewards for playing longer! (An apple) This plugin will also show you how long it's been since you last died, try beating me! (Always flying around in creative, a bit cheaty)
Core Protect: Our main plugin that shows us everything that is happening on the server. Someone been sneaking around your house? We can see that. Has your bed been mysteriously moved? We can see that. Thankfully, we rarely even have these problems as we have such an amazing community. But when it does happen, we are able to fix everything at the snap of a finger.
Those are just some of our main plugins that the community sees on a daily basis. We have other admin plugins and things to help us run the server more smoothly. But in the end, this is a true vanilla experience with some spice added to it. In it being a vanilla experience, we do not have any teleports (other than events) such as /spawn, /home, /tpa, etc. There is very few commands that players get to use.

Hello everybody and welcome to The Vanilla Life! You will never have to look for a vanilla server again once you join here; we have everything a vanilla server needs, let me list a few things. Community, events, communication, group projects, player towns, and much more! You will never have to worry about getting griefed, stolen from, having the server shut down, or having anyone get in your way of having fun. If you're looking for the kind of server you can just settle down and make some new friends while enjoying the vanilla experience. This is a server that can not be beat, I have truly never seen a group of people so welcoming, so exciting, and so friendly than this one. Here you'll have a huge spawn to explore, and if you're the type to just get on and start surviving from day one, there are four paths leading out of the city right from the center! Make sure you visit the north part of spawn for a public farm & some shops to get suit your shoppy needs!

Solo/Group: A little bit of both, depends on the day. Ahh, who am I kidding? I'm a social butterfly, going solo drives me crazy! I'm always in a group, and I tend to lead said group.
PvP/Non-PvP: Non-PvP, I am terrible at it, and sometimes get a tiny bit mad. Though, I absolutely love our PvP events we have every now and then. I've gotten a little bit better, but no where near the best on the server yet.. One day!
Leader/Follower: Leader. I'm the one who puts together my 'team' and leads them to victory in battle! Wait, no, wrong game. But, I do like taking charge as I am one of those "If you want it done right, do it yourself" kind of guys. Though, I feel the best kind of leader is the kind who is willing to follow as well.
Giving/Reciving: Giving, sometimes a bit TOO giving. Seriously though, who doesn't like a shiny new diamond every now and then!
About me:
I'm a dude who loves putting together community servers, I absolutely LOVE the community aspect of the game. I try my hardest to get everyone to have the best possible time on my servers. I also am working on a more modified version. (Plugins) which will be out soon. Can't wait to meet you all!

Prism: An amazing plugin that will allow us to keep our server 100% monitored. Never again will you have to worry about someone stealing your stuff or griefing your home. We are able to see everything from items being taken from a chest to seeing who picked up what items off the ground! If you do have a problem, a staff member will be there to fix it immediately!
While we do have some plugins to keep the server running smoothly and add some fun things to the mix, we still keep true to vanilla by having no teleports. This means no /spawn, /home, /tpa, etc (Mini events excluded). The only thing we've done in creative was our spawn which will be active with lots of mini events going on revolving around it.

Hey guys!
BxBServers will be releasing a modsauce 2 modpack soon! I come to you today to see if there's a large enough interest to start a beta here or if I'm going to have to keep the small team we have now.
Simple, just leave a reply saying that you're interested and we'll get going from there!
What you can expect from us:
1) We're here to form an amazing community! Not make a quick buck like so many servers out there do. We will have donations on our server, but you will NEVER be able to buy power. Almost all of it will be cosmetic.
2) 99.9% uptime! We don't rent a silly server from places like MCPH or beastnode, we go one step further and lease our own dedicated server. That means we're not sharing hard drive space or CPU usage with other servers, all 100% us.
3) Quality server! We are going to be testing everything thoroughly to make sure that we can bring the absolute best experience to you all. We don't want to restrict the whole game, so we are trying our best to only ban things that will cause the server harm. And even then, we're looking to have a world where even those broken things can be used separate from the main one (With the exception of crashing items)
4) Your community, your server! BxBSauce will have many polls to help mold the pack to fit our community! Everyone thing that we should remove better furnaces cause they're OP? Vote on it!
5) Protection! A big deal of modpack servers is knowing that your stuff will be safe, so we're taking EVERY precaution possible to ensure this. First of all, we're using the plugin greif prevention that will handle 90% of your protections. Then, if you're feeling a bit uneasy, we have LWC to lock any block. And on top of that we are taking the time to make sure there isn't anything that will bypass your protections! We also have methods of checking to see if anyone did bypass them what they did and how we can roll it back!
6) Longevity! After the server comes out of beta (which means it will reset a few times) we will be around for the long haul, we even intend on expanding to other modpacks such as Sky Factory! And, if modpacks aren't your thing, we currently host a Vanilla server with tons of vanilla content & events with plans on bringing out a creative server!

Your app is indented, and it throws me off.. There will be 2 main towns. Otherwise there is no limit to how many there can be and they may be built anywhere. A nether town would be pretty awesome!

I actually had hosted BxB before I even joined that server. I just simply provided them a place to go afterwards. You actually haven't played since map one. Map one was a semi-public hamachi server that was hosted off my friends computer. This was our first public server: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/archive/alpha/minecraft-survival-servers/1182335-blockbyblock-24-7-bukkit-survival-shops-economy in July, which you can see clearly that we had hosted prior to that.

Wow, you weren't kidding, this is a really good app. My best moment was when I convinced this player that iron attracted lightning, I kept using /lightning on him and he had no idea what was happening. Eventually I told him an iron block will absorb all the lightning from hitting him, he placed one down and I hit the block for a while, I eventually told him and everyone had a good laugh. I've always wanted to learn card tricks, but I'm too clumsy.
