Built around my earlier creeper bomb creator, this farm integrates a mob farm, sorter and cobblestone generators to form a fully-automated cobblestone farm. Improvements have been made over the earlier Cobblenator 500 for increased reliability.
OK, so the bug begins in 15w38a/b, and I suspect it's a bug. Might file on the tracker. Unless that was one of the 'general Mob AI improvements' but I really doubt it.
It does not work in the latest snapshot. Do you mind if I would improve it?
Hmm. This is an interesting one. The first thing you need to do is place string between the tripwire hooks, because the save conversion of the snapshot is badly broken for some reason. The next thing you need to do is set the repeater coming out of the upper tripwire hook to 3 ticks.
From there, it just seems they don't explode in the chamber. Have the mob aggression/revenge mechanics changed or is it just a bug?
An improved, automatic version of Etho's Creeper Bomb. Connect to a sorted mob farm and cobble/wood enclosure and you have an automatic cobble/wood farm! No more messy Wither-gone-wrong scenarios to plague your automated item collection!
NOTE: made a revision to this farm which you'll see in these pics. The original version had problems with guaranteed creeper detonation if you waited too long before recombining the skelly/creeper. Also, a world download.
Can you take a picture/give us the output of the SMART data please? Also, can you do a CrystalDiskMark benchmark and give us the model number of the HDD?
BTW, you should start backing up anything important right now. Being proactive can save you $$$$$$ in data recovery fees.
32 bit doesn't actually make anything slower. It just can't handle anything above 4GB, and doesn't support 64-bit applications which tend to be able to use more RAM and as an effect tend to be faster.
That's irrelevant anyways. Almost all modern CPUs are 64-bit, and we'd be recommending in the range of 8GB-16GB, not 2GB.
Actually, 32-bit can be slower because there are less CPU registers available IIRC.
Is a Celeron and integrated graphics good for gaming? No, but "Intel HD Graphics are awful at anything other than 2D gaming" isn't true. I have a laptop with Intel HD graphics 4000 and an i5 3210M and I can run a lot of games, just some of them not very well. For example Cities: Skylines runs at around 30FPS on minimum settings.
OP, I'm not saying you should get a Celeron, though. They're too weak to run most games well, you'll probably have to spend a bit more to get a better computer (unless you somehow found a computer with a Celeron for ~$350).
Well, 'Celeron' is a brand name, and there are some half-decent Haswell Celerons that could run games well if paired with a graphics card:
if you select good quality components, yes. get a good psu, half-decent cpu, good graphics card. a cheap h81 mobo can be used if not ocing as pretty much all h81 mobos support the 4790k.
This is just server host advertising. I wonder how much Multiplay and Hypixel paid Curse to promote them. I HATE how 'server advertising' is banned in most of the forums, but this shows up on the frigging front page.

Revision 2.0 which fixes many bugs with the design can be found here. I may make a tutorial on how to build this, but don't count on it.

Also, Blender. Video editing is its best-kept secret. This series of tutorials will teach you how to use it.

Blender. Video editing and compositing is its best-kept secret, and it's one of the most powerful out there. Not super easy to use though.
I heard VSDC is also decent, but it's filled with adware.

Open Broadcaster Software.
Expect to do a little fiddling, though.

Change the mobo to a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P. The MSI mobo you linked is notorious for crappy power delivery.

750Ti is better than the 250/250X, but is about equal in raw performance to the 260X I think.
