To get rid of the Standard Galactic Alphabet and turn it into your native language...

Go to \.minecraft\bin\minecraft.jar\font
Then copy both (incase you make a mistake) Rename the default.png to alternate.png, then move the new alternate.png into the \font folder, overwrite the old one. Congratulations you can now read it in English. Note this won't change it for your texture pack.. I'm nearly positive you can do exactly the same thing to the texture pack (in the zip there should be a folder named font) Do the same thing.
And its complete giberish anyways... But you get the gist of what its going to do..

My guess would be unstable plugins, or plugins conflicting with eachother... I can't look at the server though... can't see what its giving for errors and whatnot. Someone with access to the VPS would have to say what it is.

I may be mistaken as I haven't bothered trying it out yet... But don't you just set flags?

/region flag <id> <flag> [<value>]

groups.yml at "plugins\permissions\world" world being the name of your world
Also the prefix/suffix stuff requires iChat also inside the iChat folder you'll want to remove the world thing (i think its like [+world] or something like that) unless you have multiple worlds and want it to show what world they're in.

Also for specific permissions, they vary for plugins, but you'll need to use /pr g:<group name> perms add <permission>

That means your lagging... But I doubt that you are... Try running "java.exe" on a different core(s) than "javaw.exe". If you dont' know how to do that, task manager + set affinity :tongue.gif:

I'm working on figuring out prefix/suffix atm... Oh, and under "info" make sure that its "build: true" or you can't build with permissions on. Use notepad++ or the yml files don't make any sense at all.

Edit: Haha... Turns out the prefix/suffix is from a different plugin, from same person though.

Edit2: And now I'm realising like half my plugins are out of date and spaz errors at me... Yet theres no updates for them -.-

A brief background of yourself: I've been playing minecraft for a while now, and like 2 weeks ago got the idea to run my own server, I then downloaded bukkit, and started looking around for some of the popular plugins. I soon realised that permissions hated me, and spent a while figuring out how to make it so you can place blocks, until I gave up and google'd it and learned that the default groups file was wrong... Just utterly wrong... Thank god for google. (stories of plugins are fun...)

It all depends on your computer... If you have enough ram it shouldn't be a problem, but then again I believe java maxes at 1gb... So I dunno... Also 1500x1500 isn't much.
And I'm assuming it still loads the whole map (not 100% sure) as if you have the nether enabled then it will use up ram, even if nobody is in it, or ever has visited it.

1: If your part of an existing hamachi network, or set one up yourself, you don't need to forward ports.

2: That has nothing to do with it, you have to be an OP to edit blocks directly around the spawn point.

Port forwarding requires you have access to your router (aka you need to know the login/password), with hamachi you don't need to access it.

Or use hamachi... If its just your friends then I would use that, forwarding ports is more for open servers, just-friends I'd just use hamachi, but yeah.

Okay so I'm never going on that server cause the owner is a priss and can't deal with someone disliking him at the slightest... I wonder how he hasn't gone insane... I mean most people on the internet are cruel, I say it calmly and nice, and he takes it like a shot at the head.

Well anyways, Razor you wanna make a server? I could manage it, I've figured out permissions. Just one bug... You can't break any blocks... I'll prolly figure that out later tonight.
