    Quote from HempKnight

Last you checked you were wrong, you can elect small officials and they ALWAYS lie about what their actual intentions are. They elect the president not you and they certainly don't tell you who they are going to vote for before they get elected.

The cases are not isolated nearly every cop will beat, taze and shoot you at the drop of a hat. The only place I have seen in this entire country where the police aren't far worse than the criminals in Alaska.

    The system is complete ****.

    That's true actually.

Have you never even seen a peaceful protest? The people are beaten, tazed, have their eyes pried open then a Q-tip covered in pepper spray rubbed directly on their eyeball all because they wouldn't leave when the police told them to. Sometimes they get arrested but that's nearly always after they have been beaten and sent to the hospital. Unless of course if they are a minority and then that would be "racist" but white people yeah lets just beat them whenever we want. This is not to say other ethnicities are not also mistreated by our police but this reverse racism "there's no such thing as racism against white people" **** has gone on long enough. I've seen many cases of police brutality first hand not just on youtube, have you? O,o

No actually the majority of the time the person who the people voted for is not elected and is usually elected to a second term.

What I'm talking about is our constitutional right to overthrow the government if they are not doing their job which they aren't. If anyone were to try this they would enact martial law and even more people would be killed than already are by our "police". A large percentage of our military is also fed up with our government so it may be more of a level playing field when this does happen. We crack down on nations for doing thins that are nowhere near as bad as our country does to its own people every day. They are either in denial of how bad our system is or they just want to cover it up. I have seen the faults of the system first hand with my own eyes, not on TV and not on the internet. Anyone who is not aware of these problems is either only believing what they want to believe, just doesn't want to accept it or spends too much time inside their house not looking at what goes on around them all the time.

I'll address these statements one at a time.

First, careful with the ALWAYS, Hemp. I follow elections in my area and never once have I seen a candidate misrepresent himself. I also follow the presidential elections and yes, I have seen presidents change their minds on issues. The reasons for it are not really that important, but they, in almost all cases, stick to the virtues that they were elected for. Take Obama, for example. He did pass the health care reform he originally sought, pulled most of our troops out of war, gave a stimulus package, and killed Osama Bin Laden. You're probably going to bring up SOPA, but he never even mentioned internet censorship during any of the debates, and while I disagree with the bill, it wasn't a broken promise.

He hasn't gotten everything he promised done, but that's part of the reason he wants a second term.

Secondly, yes, I've seen peaceful protests. The police didn't even show up, and they did know about it. The only reason the rumor of widespread police brutality exists is because no one ever publicizes the uneventful protests where nothing like that happens. Most of the Occupy protests, for example, were quite peaceful. The police even told them to go off because they were illegally camped. Some didn't go at first, and they didn't have their "have their eyes pried open then a Q-tip". You realize that police are people too, with ethics and morals? Yes, some abuse the power, but I've met a few police and they didn't seem too much like hair-trigger maniacs.

And in all but four cases, the electoral college has gone with the vote of the majority. Four. Not most.

    Here's a source to confirm

The other presidents mentioned were elected against the overall majority, but that was because of the system, not the people of the electoral college. We can change that, but it is not the huge majority you seem to think that presidents are elected on the basis of.

Last, have you seen Libya recently? Or pick another country the US has become involved in. The atrocities committed by the government in these countries are not even on the same level as a guy getting pepper spray in his eyes, or having to deal with a hot pavement. I really suggest you actually research this stuff before acquiring that kind of an opinion. We're talking about a government commonly gunning down it's own people for protesting. Killing them. Ghaddafi even said he would squash them like cockroaches, and that's about when we decided to get involved. I'm not going to supply a source because any random googling of it will come up with sufficient results.

As for the right to revolt, a revolt usually is violent, and most people in the country right now would not want the current system to topple. When the right to revolt is given in the Constitution, they don't mean as soon as a couple hundred people gather in a square with guns the current government will cease. The constitution means that as a right, but that right to revolt is hard to succeed at.

Here's the wiki article on the subject, which says:

"As a result, to this day its ingredients remain a matter of much speculation and debate, with proposals including naphtha, quicklime, sulphur, and niter." I don't see any oil mentioned in the article, which leads me to believe there wasn't any oil.

This doesn't only basically allow teleportation, it also allows for maps without paper. All you would need to do is strategically position wolves. Way to overpowered.

Make chests and furnaces movable with pistons! This would allow for chest transporting between rooms and stuff.

This would be interesting, but it would make aboveground lava turn to cobble, and redstone creations and other creations destroyed by water would have to be moved inside.

I don't really have a big preference to this idea, but I do think that it would be better if the water was very temporary, not a permanent source block that is created.
