What I would like to know is: why is there no Minecraft forum app yet? It would be useful to have it in an app form rather than the web browser.

This blows my mind in every way. This must have been so hard to do. Congratulations to everyone who helped build this. Please tell me there is a server or map I can download to try it out!! I need to call my friend from inside the game! I wonder how they got all the audio?

I would hope they dont discontinue Java until win10 has every single feature as Java. So far, the original version is still the one with the most features.

I am looking for a Minecraft creative server. My only prerequisites are the immediate use of both worldedit and voxelsniper for free, and not having to vote or rankup to use them.

I am searching for a Minecraft server I used to play on, until my server list broke and reset. The server was sort of like kitpvp, except you made your own kits. it wasn't like many servers where you received money for kills and could upgrade the standard kit, instead you received a set amount of points and spent them on items, e.g. you start with ten points, and you spend 2 on an iron sword, 3 on a bow and some arrows, 4 on health potions, and the remaining two on armor. When you died you didn't lose points, and you had the option to rebuild your kit. If you didn't spend any points, you had an empty inv. Points acted more like carry weight than money.

The one thing I dislike is how you promptly forget about the near-nether aspect. Logically, going deeper should make it more nether-like, but it doesn't. Other than that, PLEASE MAKE THIS A THING! Support.

Firstly, thank you for your honest, un-biased review. Now, your questions.
The root of Oculus is eye, Arachnidae, arachnid (Spiders and scorpions), sensorium, sensor. The fluff is that the spiders use the WebWay as a transport network, to serve their queen, and their eyes are the way to open/enter these portals. If you have the eyes of a spider, you can access the WebWay. Arachne's eyes have the ability to create new portals and set the location and dimension that the portal goes too. Also, I typed this really early in the morning, probably before my mind was completely functional. I have added several things to the post.

It wasn't supposed to be Latin. I spelled it like I wanted to. The names are supposed to be Latin-esque, but I didn't expect many people to understand the actual terms. Even though the actual translation is a little dull, the actual names sound cool (to me).

The idea I had recently is for a new dimension. This dimension would be called the WebWay.
The way you would get to the dungeon is that you would build an arrangement of obsidian (Silk, craftable from 9 string) block that leaves a 3x3 empty space in the middle, sort of like the way the corners are optional for a Nether portal. The interior would be left empty, but one block below the obsidian ring there would be cobwebs. It would be like a pool of cobwebs, and the surface of the pool began one block below the rim of the obsidian. The portal would be activated using a device called an Oculus Arachnidae. Crafted in two steps. First, you would surround a gold ingot with spider eyes, and then you would take the Oculus and craft it like a shovel, but with blaze rods instead of sticks.(The theory is that spiders are allowed access to the WebWay by means of using their eyes as keys.) The portal would fill with shimmering darkness, and you could enter the WebWay.
Once you enter the WebWay, you better hope you remembered your ladders and blocks. The dimensions is a series of branching, twisting tunnels made out of a block called Silk, craftable into nine string (breaks into 1-3 string) outside the WebWay, there is only void. The dimension is populated with numerous spiders of both the regular and cave varieties, as well as a two new types called the Deathspitter Spider, and the Assassin Spider. The Deathspitter spider could shoot poison shards, dealing one heart of damage to an unarmored player and giving poison I for 5 seconds. The Assassin Spider can crawl along ceilings, and takes no fall damager. Also, occasionally scattered around, are egg sacs, which spew large amounts (15-20) of baby spiders (2 hearts, deals 1 damage) when you get too close, within about 5 blocks. In the WebWay, spiders can sense your vibrations through the silk of their lair, and their detection range is doubled.
Also, a new block that would generate there: snagged silk. The block would resemble a regular block of silk, only tangled and snarled looking, with bits of an indeterminate item sticking out. In theory, this would be something that caught in the webs as the victim was dragged to Arachne's lair. When being broken, this would yield a few random items, like something you would find in a loot chest, as well as a few rotten flesh and bones.
There would be a new boss, the Spider Queen (Arachne) you find her by crafting an Oculus Sensorium, which requires gold and another Oculus, arranged like a compass. It works the same way, pointing the way toward the spider queen's lair. The spider queen is a massive greenish spider, that has about as much health as an iron golem. She is very fast, and occasionally uses two special attacks. The first is spitting a venom bomb, which deals 3 hearts of damage to an unarmored player, and gives poison II for 3 seconds. This venom bomb can be hit back at the queen like a ghast fireball. The second attack is laying an egg. This egg functions like an egg sac, but is based on a timer rather than proximity. If it is destroyed, the baby spiders won't spawn. When the spider queen is killed, she drops a lot of exp, and two special types of items, Immaculate Silks, and Grand Spider Eyes. The immaculate silks are crafted into Silk Boots. These boots give the wearer the ability to walk on walls, as if every block had a ladder on it. They provide no armor, and require string as fuel, consuming one string for every 60 seconds of use. (Loses durability instead, requires a lot of string and exp. Also, auto-detaches after 30 secs of wall-walking) The Grand Spider Eyes can be used to craft an Oculus Maximus, using a diamond in the middle instead of gold. This can be used to create an Oculus Arachindae Maximus. This can be used to open portals from inside the WebWay. In the WebWay, distances don't matter. The location of the portal in another dimension can be determined by the person with the Oculus Arachindae Maximus. The location is set by means of coordinates, as well as a catalyst from the dimension you are trying to get to. If you are trying to open a portal from WebWay to Nether, you need some netherrack or soul sand. If you are trying to get to the End, you need end stone. The overworld, any block will do.
Suggestions for better names and constructive criticism are welcome. This was accidentally posted before it was finished, so I edited it to finish the article.

I have no idea how to mod, and have no idea if this will work, but my idea is this: an Inventory-style command interface. For instance, pressing "/" would, instead of opening the chat box with a / pre-typed, open the chat box along with an inventory menu-style interface, with several tabs along the top, for different categories, E.G: custom items, custom mobs, edit mobs, teleport, etc. Clicking different labeled buttons in each category would formulate a command, which can be placed directly into the chat/command block after the command is done being created. For instance: Tab: items > Give items > Diamond Pickaxe > Name: The Ice Pick > Lore: Made of magical ice > Enchantments: Silk Touch I > DataTag: Unbreakable, Can break: Ice, except instead of typing this all out, and dealing with brackets and IDs, you simple press the appropriate buttons, and type in the Name and Lore. For a novice map-maker, this mod would be invaluable, as well as time saving.

I am trying to find a nice skin editor that can use the new 1.8 coat, sleeve, and pants textures. Websites are preferable, but I will use anything. Please help!

I am looking for a skin editor that is compatible with the new 1.8 version of skins. Preferably a website, but it can be a program if the Sleeve and other textures work. Please help!

Terribly sorry for confusion, I was talking about lazy types who take no pride in their work. I did not have foreign people in my mind when I wrote this, and would have worded it differently if I had thought that was how it was going to be seen.

Read edit. Sorry for confusion.

1: Is everything spelled correctly?
2: Do they use correct grammar?
If these two conditions are met, 90% of the time the content the passage is describing is halfway-decent.
EDIT: Im not racist, or against foreign people, I was taking about people (who already speak English) who take no pride in their work.

You need to post the bow thing in suggestions, makes way more sense than arrows in off hand, as well as making sense in that right handed people pull the string with the left hand, and vice versa.
