I had one question regarding the modpack policy. I'm making a private server pack, for my server of course, and I am not finished with it yet, since I am waiting on permission from other mods, but I would like to know if I could still fill out that form or not, since I don't have a link yet.
I actually learned Java in first year university, so I'm not really sure about the best place to learn it otherwise.
I did stumble across kind of a cool tutorial online at www.learnjavaonline.org where you can write java right in the browser, and run it (so you can change it and see the results right away). I don't know if it's actually a good tutorial, but it looks like a nice place to start.
If you want to learn how to make mods, It's definitely worth it. I think it's really fun. I'd first learn Java really well (if you don't know it already), then look up tutorials online. So many people have made such useful tutorials. I'm very thankful to all the tutorial makers out there.

Where did you learn Java? Any recommendations for learning it?
Hmm, interesting thought with the different textures. I kinda like the consistency of one texture, though.
Lol, I just made a wool portal, and got a flint and steel, and forgot I needed magical water, so I lit the wool, and I was wondering why it wasn't working until five of the blocks burnt to a crisp.
I agree, consistency is good...for OCD people in minecraft.
I just realised this mod can be used as a wool, clay, and glass farm.
Anyways, it would be cool if the portal texture was different for the two (three) types of portal blocks can have different textures. In example, the wool portals might be normal, but the clay ones with more of a reddish tint, and the glass portals more transparent. Just a thought
It would be really cool if there was a portable teleporter. There could be like a 5 second delay so you can't just teleport away when you are about to die. Also, a cooldown timer would be required for this to be not over-powered. This might not fit, since this mod is about portals, but it's still a thought. That might be a cool addon for this mod, as an optional download.
Also, I found a texture bug when underwater. I also have ExtraBiomesXL installed, but I don't think that's the source of this bug. When underwater, all of the colorful water looks like source blocks. No idea if this is fixable, but wanted to let you know. If it actually flows underwater it would look weird. Just wanted to report this. =)

Also, is it possible to put it in the mods folder, if you have forge installed, since on my modpack I want this mod to be optional.

Not yet, but as soon as I do, I will send you a form

Just click on an item, hold it down, and spread it across any amount of inventory space!
NOTE: This was added in 1.5, so if you're running 1.4.7 or later, it will not work.

Project Red has those.
The only thing I think is missing is the pneumatic tubes...I loved those...

I think MCP needs to update before forge can, and then this mod can update
Stained Glass portals in 1.7 version? What you you think? That might be kinda weird though
