I've been doing a lot of survival lately, and as so have been playing a lot more overall. Recently, though, I've been having some issues. I'm on 1.3.2. Sometimes when performing actions, my tools (they were both enchanted) will sometimes randomly disappear. One was an iron sword at about 1/3 damage and the other was an iron pickaxe at just shy of no damage.
Has this happened to anybody, is this a known glitch, or is it just my world? It may also be worth noting that some of my half slabs are glitching. This initially started happening when I had about 100 zombies in my mob farm waiting to be harvested, but I had just cleared out the collection room so there weren't really any in the area. I just noticed that after the tool randomly disappeared, the slabs stopped glitching. Could this mean they're connected somehow? I really don't know and I'm a little sad about the pick since it was an efficiency 2 and I had just lost a couple others from a death.
EDIT: The pickaxe just reappeared in my inventory. This is really weird. :\
I'm planning on finally going for the End, and I need to collect Nether items as part of my preparation. The first time I went to the nether, my portal was non-existant; thankfully I had TooManyItems so I built one back and destroyed the remaining items (I hate cheating in legit worlds, but there was no portal to be found; I dug up and down from where I spawned in. On top of that, I spawned suffocating in some ground) spawned.
Anyways, I'm looking for some tips. I have a nice covered cove on top of a lava lake with the nether fortress in viewing distance (lucky find), and I need some ways to stop pigmen from spawning inside and keeping ghast fireballs away. Is an obsidian wall the only solution?
Do you have any plans or desires to continue updating this texture pack? I would love it if you would keep updating it because this is one of my favorite 2 texture packs.
Wah. Save the texture and replace the new one with it. Problem solved. Instead of ranting about something you can fix and avoid, do something about it. Damn.
I have an Intel Core i7 and Windows recognizes it having 8 cores. Is there a way I can distribute render/tick loads between cores by use of threading, or does Minecraft not have support for threading?
So I was wondering what ever happened to Digital Diamonds? They used to be fairly regular and I enjoyed watching videos about all these crazy and awesome creations. Was the series cut? Are there plans to get it going again?
When I loaded one of my worlds (SkyBlock Survival), I died on load even though I just standing on a platform with another platform below me. 2 enderman also spawned in daylight. >_>
Awesome mod. Just getting started and about halfway to having enough mobs killed to build a town. I look forward to updates and can't wait to build up my town.
Happened to me once, and I just re-ran the command prompt and it worked fine. There is no other way to get your LAN IP address (192.168.x.y). Possibly try run as admin?
You may be trying to execute the ipconfig command in a directory. Do not want. You must revert to the highest user directory, which is C:\Users\urusernamehere.
