    The answer to "why?" is very apparent to me, because minecraft's spawning system totally sucks and this is one way that building a zoo could be a fun and challenging project. The only thing keeping me from downloading it is that the only mod its compatible with is mocreatures. Add atmosmobs to the list then we will talk.

    Davey, Im still struggling to get a good highlands MSC config going on and Id like to ask you a question.

    Do any of them despawn? If so, would it be a good idea to set those creatures as monsters or ambients? Im thinking small things like frogs and dragonflies.

    It looks like for some reason it can't recognize the TF biomes. That's really weird.


    maybe for the same reason they dont show up in mystcraft books. Anyway, Im still kinda waiting to see if anyone will clue me in on how they are having such epic sucess with this mod. As I said before no matter what settings I choose, when it comes to the game finally deciding what creatures to spawn and where it almost always spams the same creature with hardly any hint of variety. Say I want 3 types of creature to spawn with an equal chance?

    I posted my own workaround to this bug a few pages back. At least I think its the same bug, you havent said anything about crashing when exiting the game. But I bet you have mipmaps enabled. Just open the thaumcraft zip and find the file burst.png and resize it to half.

    yeah I just started playing around with the imprinter,rejector and armbot, all three are very cool. I like that the imprinter can also be used as an autocrafter. Ive been wanting a cohesive experience since I started dabbling with tech mods (instead of a bunch of completely different systems) so thanks for all the hard work.

    It worked for me back when I was still using BOP. Then again, it was working in highlands biomes too up until the last update.

    Well, I dont see anything about Syntacraft on the UE wiki. Im curious as to what the goal of the mod is. That it adds new ways to make building blocks is definitely a step in the right direction if you ask me. One of the major downfalls of all of these tech mods is that they give you tons of high tech machines but leave you in the middle ages in terms of building material. Iron blocks are too expensive. I hope you consider adding new industrial styled decorative blocks that require at least some metal in the manufacture.

    I dont use optifine to increase performance. I use it make the game look better. Mipmaps, HD textures, clear water and better grass goes a long way to making Minecraft look awesome.

    Hell yeah! And its way underappreciated. People dont even know what they are missing here. I know when I first saw the thread I thought "why do I need even more biomes?" At the time I was using both extrabiomes and biomes o plenty which totaled up to nearly 100 biomes...that should tell you how desperate I was to get some halfway decent looking worlds, especially around the spawn area which 9 times out of ten was crap. What I didnt understand then is this mod isnt anything like those others. Its not so much about the biomes as it is about amazing terrain generation. Now I cant choose which awesome location within walking distance of my spawn site on any random seed to start building on. Doubters, you simply MUST try this mod. Support the author so he continues development of this amazing project!

    Sorry davey. i used to make mods for morrowind and I often was frustrated with the lack of feedback sometimes. I havent actually had a chance to play this mod much yet, Ive spent way too much time trying to configure MSC to work with highlands biomes, (now theres a mod that also deserves more attention) the only things Ive managed to get to spawn with a reasonable frequency and variation is your atmosmobs fish-which might I add is something Ive wanted to happen since 1.2.5. I plan to do the same with primitive mobs.
